Rate this book
After escaping a harrowing ordeal with the Drakin Clan, Princess Lucy’s homecoming is short lived.

The evil dragon shifters, along with their newfound allies, the giants, have declared war upon the Southern Kingdom.

Lucy knows her life is in danger and must learn how to defend herself.

After seeking out a local witch named Hilda, Lucy learns of a prophecy, sending her on a quest to retrieve a magical golden crown located in the caves of the Southeastern Lands.

This crown is guarded by Orcs—large creatures with a taste for blood and war. Lucy will be accompanied by a prince, and a duke from the Northern Kingdom, along with Tobias; each vying for her love.

Lucy soon learns she’s open to love—more than she ever thought possible. In this dangerous journey through the Wastelands, it will be up to Lucy, and the magic within the crown, to save her family, and her kingdom.

Will Lucy be able to battle the feelings she has for all three men, and steal the golden crown in time to save her people, fulfilling her destiny?

Good story. Catherine's sister, Lucy, grows beyond her prim and proper upbringing into a powerful character in her own right. Her companions also add a lot to the story.

An awesome story. Princess Lucy is saved but for how long. Evil is on its way and what can be done to help. A fabulous fantasy.

This is a brilliant read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Can't wait to read more of these.
Recommend reading.

Our heroine was kidnapped in the last book and rescued by her warrior sister. Now it is her turn to be the warrior.

This is book two in the series and it works just fine as a standalone. That being said, it might be a little more fun to read them in order, but it is not strictly necessary.

This is an action fantasy story with a bit of a reverse harem sideline. The story is very well written and fun to read, with lots of action, a well thought out world and some fascinating characters. Just like the previous book, we are treated to a cast of characters that are well developed and fun to read. My favorite was our heroine, of course, who has to go from princess to warrior, although not without a bit of a fuss. I had lots of fun with this installment and hope to see more of these characters in the future.

Highly recommended.

In the last book Lucy was the damsel in distress while her sister came in and saved the day as a the proverbial knight in shining armor. Now, it's her turn.

RH Action Fantasy story with dragons and vampires, and more. There is tons of action to keep the book moving and never seems boring. The world is robust and detailed, while the characters are fascinating and compelling. The characters in this book are fun to read, and witty. Lucy is a princess and likes being a princess. She doesn't want to be a warrior. However, she must for her quest of the golden crown, and she is not happy about it. It was fun to see a girly hyper-feminine character learn how to balance that with being a warrior.

A fast paced, quick witted story about the prim & perfect sister who now knows what it feels like to want to be the hellion.

When she faces a similar position that her sister had faced, Lucy takes a deep breath, pulls up her socks and gets down to learning how to fight. With 3 suitors waiting for her to pick one or all of them, an Orc king to defeat and a crown to steal, Lucy has a lot on her plate.

I really enjoyed reading this book.

Pretty good

I liked the story overall and only took off 1 star for grammatical and spelling errors. It helps to read the first book before delving into this one

HEA Fantasy

Bit over the top, in places, though the story was interesting. Wondering if Bertha will have her own story, with her fairy godmother characteristics.

Now Lucy is on a quest to find a crown. The dragon Julius has declared war and that is the only way to obtain her powers. She is to be accompanied by two humans and a dhampir. Will they return in time to save the kingdom? Will the crown cure her father? Will she choose one of her enamored companions or perhaps all?

ONE SATISFYING EXPERIENCE!!!
Unbelievable! This dynamic duo sets up the stage, chooses the actors and directs the play, whipping this baby into shape with a firm rod, lining 'em up and laying 'em out, blazing a trail, melding this baby together flawlessly. When the stakes are high, put on your big girl boots and get to stomping. Level the field and call the shots, you're on a roll, ramping this baby up and stealing the show, blasting this bad boy to life brilliantly. Divvying incredible, well rounded scenario's, revving up the anticipation and adrenaline with intensity and precision, blowing this jewel wide open. Sparks fly as drama, intrigue, challenges, danger and mounting suspense, blasting this baby into the eye of the storm, thrusting it into a tailspin with unbelievable results. Seizing the opportunity, traversing the trials and tribulations, keeping pace with a bevy of plot twists and sharp turns, grounding in it's strength and awe inspiring in it's depth. The personalities are well matched and blended with just enough flaws for diversity. The characters and scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and colorful descriptions so rich and lively, they blend and flow magnificently. Remarkable job guys, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.

Lucy's life is in danger. She must learn to fight or die. She learns she is part of a prophecy and must go on a quest to retrieve a magical golden crown from the orcs who are filled with a thirst for blood and war. The characters are feisty and the story is well written . I found this story to be most brilliant.

*Spoiler Alert*
War is on the horizon in book 2 in this series. After Princess Lucy (FMC) was kidnapped in book 1 shes struggling to find herself until a secret about herself is revealed. One that could change the whole course of the war. With the help of the prince & duke of the northern kingdom - Patrick and Trenton, Tobias a dhampir and brother to her sisters fiance (three guys who have shown an interest in her) they set out on a journey of discovery. I loved the first book in this series and i loved lucy in that one so im glad she got her own book. It gave her the chance to show how her character has grown since the last book into a stronger one. Just loved it

This is book 2 in this reverse harem series it was even better than book 1, this story is all about Lucy her trials and tribulations in her life. Lucy learns of a prophecy now she is on a quest to get the magical crown from a cave of the Southeastern lands and with the help of 3 men who fight for her love, Lucy has one hell of a battle on her hands. Loved this story it has some action, adventure and steamy scenes to keep you entertained and turning the pages and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This is the second book in this series and follows the story of Catherine's sister Lucy and her three suitors, Tobias, Trenton and Patrick. I really enjoyed it. It was well written and engaging storyline which drew you in. I hadn't take to Lucy's prim ways in the first book, but loved Catherine, so it was fantastic to see a different side to Lucy and see her grow. I feel the book didn't quite have the same humour as the first book, which had me giggling, but it still has some !might humour.
The book was light and easy to read and enjoyable. I don't feel you needed to have read the first book to follow this, but it would definitely enhance your understanding of the storyline if you had.
Although the book does warn you that it's a reverse harem storyline, it's not one that engages all the characters together at the same time.
Will definitely read other books in the series.
