Book: There was an old Lady who Swallowed a Fossil Author: P. Crumble Genre: Picture books, Children’s Books Recommend: Yes Amount of Pages 24 My feelings:
I really enjoy children's books. And read them to my kids every night. But one thing I don't do is review them. Why I don't know, but I decided it was time to start.
This book is hilarious and I love all the things she swallowed after the fossil. Very well done. We have a few of these and they always make me giggle. The illustrations are amazing as well. Highly recommend.

Yes book is based on old lady who swallowed a fly but fossil version which didn’t work as well as the author intended. For one, dinosaur names are quite a mouthful (no pun intended) so it was hard to sing song about it. And secondly, the illustrations of guts and explosive puke are not for the faint of heart.
This Australian take on the Old Lady series, always has great animation and a solid story. This was one of the weaker of the Crumble set, but still is pretty great. All the classic Dinosaurs are there and the structure is spot on. The animation lacked the quirky hidden gems of the others in this series. Still this is a great fun book.
