With the kidnapping of Erica Collins, Pierre is going crazy and ready to kill anybody that stands in his way of finding his true love and bringing her home to him unharmed. After figuring out who has her, his only problem is finding her location. Pierre finds himself turning to the last person in the world that would want to see his face again.
Pastor Collins tried his hardest to keep his daughter away from the streets to avoid the dangers that comes with it but being hardheaded, she had to learn the hard way. With Erica missing, the Pastor has no other choice but to call on someone who has just as much power in the streets as the man he had been praising most of his life. Once that phone call is made, family secrets are let out of the bag.
Erica has to decide if she should let her secret out or is it too much to handle and better off taking it to the grave. Being scared and ashamed, she holds it in as long as she can. But once it’s out, will Pierre still love her the same?
Even with everything that’s going on, Nicole still manages to cause even more problems that could leave her lonely at the end.
Mekco is battling his own problems that cause him to just wanna walk away from everything and everyone. But at the end, he has to decide what he really wants. He prays that it’s not too late to get his life in order.

Picked up right where the last installment left off. With drama and more drama. This series gets better and better. Really loving the storyline and these characters. What I'm really loving is the way in this installment it's as if I can visualize to story and characters as if I'm in there with them. I knew Nicole was a true friend from the beginning and her true colors has been revealed. I know it's still more to Erica's dad and I can't wait to see what it is. So loving Erica character and loving her growth. i hate what happened to Erica but I believe we're going to see a new Erica and watch out. Job well done T. Friday.

Just when Erica and Pierre seem to be getting things on track,stuff just keep popping off. So many secrets! Nicole and Mecko going through some changes. I felt kinda sorry for Toya though. And Kim getting caught up after trying to get it right with her son. And lordy have mercy on that Pastor Collins!!
Can't wait for the next book. The drama unfolded in this one and I can't wait to see what happens!

A GREAT BOOK!!!!
I really enjoyed this book. Part 2 was just as good as part 1. This is definitely a must read series. Nicole is really getting on my nerves.....when things not going good for her she mad and shiesty...Erica needs to watch out for her...I can't believe that happen to P's mom...I can't wait to read part 3... T you have done it again...

This was a great continuation. Erica and Pierre are a amazing couple. They are so down for one another. T. Friday is a really good author that keeps you captivated. I look forward to reading the next book.

I was really worried for P and Erica. Wow I wonder will Nicole be honest with Mekco man I gotta know will she marry him too oh wow. Dang I’m sorry to hear about Kim that’s messed up. Well on to the next book this series is too lit.
