To all my readers: Thank you. There’s no escaping the truth – without all of you, there wouldn’t be me, the author. Your support and kind words have taken me from being a new author who was unsure and panicked to an author with over twenty books under her belt. Okay, I’m still unsure and panicked, but I’m a work in progress. (Takes a sip of wine.)
I love sharing my stories with you and hearing how my characters have touched you and how you’ve cheered them on, cried with them, and even wanted to knock some sense into a few. Your encouragement has inspired me to continue on my writing journey. All the late nights, missed events, and looming deadlines have been worth it, knowing these stories have entertained and stayed with you long after the book was finished. Michelle XO
Man, this one was good! I wasn't expecting him to be the stalker/killer. scary. What was up with the detectives on the case, tho. He was mean. Why?? I think Vincent was my favorite. The mosaic he did with Tristans granny's broken China was dang cute 🧎♀️ I'm so ready for Shadows' book!
Possible trigger warnings: serial killer, stalking, assault, psycho Man what these guys go through. I’ve always loved Vincent’s quiet way, since I met him in the beginning. He just has this way about him that shows such a quiet strength. There’s just something about the Indian way. And with him coming from a good Navajo line, it’s ingrained in him. And I love that. He doesn’t need to fill the silence with words and his actions show everything he feels. He’s just a perfect person for Tristan in every way. With Tristan feeling so out of sorts from a psycho who has entered his life, moving to Brighton was no contest. He wanted to be near his friend Grady and when he met Vincent, it confirmed it even more. But with all that’s going on, Tristan is losing what’s left of his marbles. First with the incident in the last book, that left him almost murdered and then guilty about what he had to do. And then finding out the man he wanted away from is still coming after him. But to make matters worse, there’s another character in play that Tristan is blowing off but no one else is really taking lightly. And it’s all coming to a head as more and more things are happening. To the point, Tristan has to stay in the compound to stay safe. And Vincent will do anything he can to keep him safe. No matter what that means. I don’t know how these guys deal with it. Well, I’d be like Tristan and going out of my mind. With the Sentinels, they’re used to it. It’s their jobs. Doesn’t mean it’s easy on them either, but they’ve learned to separate and deal with it. But the other guys aren’t used to all the kidnappings and psycho murderers and everything else that is being thrown at them. For Tristan, I would have flipped out long before. I know he’s got his writing and he’s trying to hold on to it as hard as he can. But sometimes you’ve just got to let it out and get help. Whether you want to or not. It’s horrible all that they are going through, but what I do love, is how much of a rock Vincent is for Tristan. Tristan has finally gotten to the point where he feels even remotely intimate with Vincent and that was just kissing. But no matter what Tristan is having to deal with, Vincent is there holding his hand, holding him up and giving support in the way he knows how. And it’s perfect for Tristan. And Tristan has given Vincent the one thing left he needed. A home in the man he loves. There are some scary moments, and definitely tearful ones, but this story is just so good. The whole series is perfect and I’ve loved every one of them so far.
so sexy.. so fun and action packed.. so many amazing emorions and personalities.. those are so amazing to get to know these characters and who they are. it is wonderful series and i cant wait to see whats next!
When Vincent meets Tristan, his heart starts to beat faster and thoughts are revolving around the attractive novelist only. He's a lost cause, he 's totally love-struck. Unfortunately, it turns out that the demons of the past followed Tristan up to Brighton and now Vincent's beloved is in great danger. Danger that not only them, but also their friends will have to face. After all, madness doesn't recognize compromises and is capable of anything to get what it wants.
For some time, the main characters in "Boys of Brighton" novellas are men who we hardly know or know very little about, and that's how it is also this time. Although we've known Vincent since the second volume, mostly he was a mystery to us. That is why I was looking forward to his story so that we could finally get to know him. Until now, we've known more or less what he looks like and what he does for a living. And obviously, this is not enough information to assess what kind of person he is. Tristan, who appeared in the previous volume and about whom we already know more than about our mysterious bodyguard is his better half. I think that in this case it is not without significance that only someone new is able to get the best out of Vincent and help us get to really know him. After all, all this time, through all the volumes, Vincent was waiting just for Tristan.
In this novella I really liked the fact that Tristan, who at some point is in a relationship with Vincent, is open not only to the idea of getting to know the man, but also the language of his ancestors and his culture. On the one hand, it proves that he fully accepts and respects Vincent's heritage, on the other, it is a proof of his insatiable curiosity and desire to get to know his man in every respect. In my opinion equally important is the fact that Tristan is a novelist, and therefore someone who understands the importance of both language and the ability to share with someone special not only the "external" things, those available to anyone, but also the things which are hidden deep inside a man, which are part of their existence. It may not be the most accurate comparison, but Tristan seems to be like a sponge that absorbs Vincent with its entire surface.
Another extremely interesting motif we find in "Vincent" is something I would call the hierarchy of danger. Every day, man is forced to make some sort of segregation, divide the dangers of ordinary life into those that are more and less likely to happen, those with more and less severe effects. In the case of Tristan, however, the matter is much more serious, and at some point we start to wonder: Which threat is the greater one? Who is the more dangerous predator and is it really true? When can we really feel safe and can anyone say that they are safe? I think the way the author presented this particular theme in her novella is amazing, fantastic and impressive. I admit that she really surprised me.
To sum up, "Vincent" is undoubtedly one of the better and more interesting parts of "Boys of Brighton". The plot is very well built, sometimes really surprising and the characters we get to know in this volume conquer our heart in the blink of an eye. I highly recommend you this part of the series. It is great.

Podsumowując, „Vincent” jest niewątpliwie jedną z lepszych i ciekawszych części „Boys of Brighton”.
I tell ya, this town is not the place to live if you want to live in a safe little small town! these poor characters face all kinds of crime and violence in each book! Vincent and Travis are the main characters in this installment.
Vincent is an interesting character. He is of Navaho decent and a retired navy seal. Of course, there works with the sentinels. When Travis appeared in the previous book... Vincent was taken with his "sparrow" immediately. Even though his name is the title of the book, I felt as though the story was much more about Travis. I'm still finding myself a bit curious about Vincent and where he came from.
Travis brings to Brighton yet another stalker. He dated a man named Stavropol very briefly before realizing he wanted nothing to do with him. Sadly, Stavros didn't get the message and has been stalking Travis ever since. When Tristan returns to his condo to pick up his remaining belongings, the issue with Stavros escalates and becomes even more dangerous.
As always, there's a bit of a twist in this story..not everything is how it seems. Think is a bit gruesome compared to the others... it's not just stalking that is going on. Please read the warnings before you pick up this part of the series.
A Suspenseful, Steamy Novella! Book 8 of the Boys of Brighton series of M/M romantic novellas had me on the edge of my seat! In M. Tasia’s “Vincent,” the title character, a former Navy SEAL and an integral member of the Sentinels, is thrown together with a beautifully flamboyant romance writer. Vincent has a deeply ingrained respect for his Navajo heritage, and the honorable man loves the family he has discovered in his team and the Brighton community (and I love that we get to revisit characters from the previous stories). When he is tasked with protecting Tristan, childhood best friend of Grady from Book 7, the connection between the two is instantaneous, and their love story and commitment to each other is so touching. The suspense in this one though! I couldn’t have put it down if I tried. Despite the fact that it’s a novella, Tasia has done such a wonderful job of developing great characters and a strong storyline so that it has the feel of a full-length novel despite its brevity. Seriously, M. Tasia, these books are AMAZING!!!
Once again, M Tasia has written another story to pull at your heartstrings. This is the story of Vincent and Tristan. Tristan is Grady’s friend who came to help him when Grady was heartbroken over Ben (which of course, he had no reason to be after all was said and done!) Tristan is an author who is sweet, sassy and cares so much for others that he puts everyone’s happiness and wellbeing before his own. Vincent is the alpha who is over protective, quiet and philosophical. When Vincent lays eyes on Tristan, he is done – he is drawn to Tristan instantly. Of course, there has to be trouble that follows Tristan to Brighton. And of course, the Sentinels and the rest of Brighton are going to be there to protect their family.
Another great story with great characters. Fears are faced, the past is put in the past and family and loyalty are high. I cannot wait to read Shadow and see what’s in store for him.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Former Navy Seal, Vincent Greyson, became a member of the Sentinels. he was tasked with guarding a novelist. Not supposed to fall for the man you are sworn to protect.
Tristan Michaels thought his life would change for the better upon his move to Brighton. Just when the dust began to settle and his writing is going well, he becomes ensnared in someone else's drama. Travis's drama.
Out of the grasp of danger and into the protection of... a novel becoming reality. Love that was meant to blossom is also being thoroughly tested. No compromise in danger, but will they compromise on their romance?

Tristan, author, fabulous in every way, and crazy about Vincent. Vincent, Navajo, founding member of the Sentinel’s, protector by nature, and crazy about Tristan.
Once again trouble comes to Brighton, stalking Tristan. Vincent rallied the troops (Sentinels) and they go on alert.
This book wasn’t the best in the series but it was ok. I didn’t connect to Tristan and Vincent like I did some of the other couples. It seemed like their courtship was forced into the background so that the Sentinels and the crazies could take center stage. That said, this was another interesting glimpse into the Brighton Boys.

I loved this work, it was such a sweet and endearing read watching Vincent and Tristan together. I loved watching their love blossom as the were there for each other and worked through their problems. The twists and turns with in the story was fantastic and the growth was very well illustrated. I loved how they started coming together in Grady's story and having their own story was a great way of weaving things together. This series is fantastic.
Five out of Five stars.

I was given a free arc copy from the author for review.
4.5 stars
This was another very quick read and a great addition to the series. Low heat and medium angst. I love this couple. They are sweet and have great chemistry. There is lots of hurt/comfort. I'll leave off half a star simply cause there were a few things that seemed far fetched to me but otherwise I found the plot very interesting and couldn't put it down. There is lots of drama and just the right amount of suspense and a surprise ending.
I love this series but I didn't like this book as much as some of the others. I felt like the story was rushed and there was not a lot of development between Tristan and Vincent. I felt like there was less action in this story compared to the other stories. I still liked the story overall but for me this one is a 3.8 out of 5.
Vincent is the eighth book in the Boys of Brighton series by M. Tasia. This is a contemporary m/m romance that mixes suspense, romance and steam. I love Vincent and Tristan together and their insta-love. The story had me fully invested and fit perfectly with the rest of the series. I feel like I enjoy each book even more than the last with this series.
Vincent was a seal and is now part of the Sentinels. Tristan is a writer who has had a traumatic past. They meet and have instant chemistry, but danger always lurks around every corner with the Boys of Brighton! Good story, quick short read. Loved it! I am voluntarily leaving a review form an ARC that I received. My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions.
Vincent met Travis who was an author when he moved to Brighton to be with his best friend Grady. He was sent to guard over Travis because there was so much that was coming at him. Can’t really believe that I had the wrong person figured doing the things to Travis. Great book! Had to keep reading to see how things were going to come out!
I didn’t like this book in The Men of Brighton series as much as I did some of the others. Nothing against the writing I just think it made me a bit squeamish as it deals with stalking. The writing is as good as ever and this was still a roller coaster ride of a book.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Vincent is my favorite story in the Boys of Brighton series. The action and the suspense kept me guessing - it was quite unpredictable and impressive. As with all the books within the series, I love the characters.

While this wasn't my favorite, it's still a really good read.
Tristan and Vincent were perfect for each other.
Loved the twists the author threw in. Kept me on the edge of my seat, and I didn't put the book down until the very end. Now I'm excited for Shadows book.
A good quick uncomplicated, no great thought needed to read bk and series. Enjoyable and Entertaining. Insta Love, Insta Relationship, Insta Connection. Worth the read. Recommend. Series best read in order.
Tristan finds true love with Vincent, his protector. He has a stalker that is an ex boyfriend that won't take no for an answer. On top of that he gets gravely ill and is hospitalize. However, making plans with the man of his dreams makes it all worthwhile!
Vincent meets Tristan when the team was helping Tristan's best friend. They're together now but Tristan's psycho ex is stalking him. I really enjoyed this book.
I love Tristan; his bright clothes and love of writing romance novels made him awesome and everything Vincent wanted in a partner. Vincent had me giddy from the moment he locked eyes on Tristan. It was sweet and hot and I loved their whole dynamic.
