The Final Wish of Maggie Bosworth

Maggie Bosworth is reaching the twilight of her years. Her two children have grown up and left home and she is waiting on her husband Frank to retire so that they can spend some quality time together. However, Maggie makes a shocking discovery about Frank and soon she is left all alone and having to start her life all over again. Maggie struggles with the loneliness and the endless boredom of life on her own. She begins to despair, until she meets her neighbour in the flat beneath hers. He calls himself Walter Beck and he begins to teach her that life on her own isn't so bad. She agrees to have dinner with him and then Walter shows her who he really is. He is a man with a few tricks up his sleeve and he has the power to make Maggie's final years into something wonderful, as long as she believes in magic.

A Romance with a Magical Twist!

The Final Wish of Maggie Bosworth is a page turner that kept me hanging on every word. It's not only a story of love, loss, sadness but also one of a new romance, a second chance and life after divorce.

It was a different kind of romance with the added mystique of magic or the paranormal. Watch out what you wish for!

Read it and you will understand what this statement means. I recommend this book to readers who are looking for something different. This will fill the bill.

Very much enjoyed reading this story. I’m rarely surprised by the endings of books. To say I did not see this ending coming, is the understatement of the year. I enjoyed the author’s writing style, and down to earth characters and their conversations. Loved it!

I absolutely loved how magic and reality were blended so effortlessly in this story. If you're looking for a love story with a surprise ending this is the read for you. The author makes the characters believable and the story is a real page turner.  Incidentally one of the character's, 'Walter' turns up in another story by the author if you're interested to read more!
