this was basically a summary of what was told in Starforce on the Rise, just with more pictures. There was bits of the film in this, so that was cool to see. Also, yes. I did read this for yon-rogg content and let me tell you all.... I got it ;)
So, why did I give a book aimed at kids between 8 and 12 a 5 star review? Well, just because I'm beyond that age limit, doesn't mean I can't recognize what a piece of literature is trying to do. Interesting enough, this "Captain Marvel" book takes the form of a journal. I thought that was neat. Another thing, when I was around 3 to 10 years old, I saw spinoff books based on movies all the time. Since I'm 25, I'm more likely to buy a comic book from Marvel. But I'm glad things like this still exist.
Mission log written from the POV of Vers. Does give a little more insight into the Starforce team. Perfect to give to a young reader if they're a Captain Marvel fan!
