Got this for a dollar at the thrift shop, and might be one of the best one-dollars spent. As someone's who anxious by default, this book was grounding by truly reminding me that I shouldn't worry about things out of my control. I would read 3-4 chapters in the morning to start the day with a little more perspective and calmness. I finished reading this book a while back but still pick it up whenever I feel my world becoming a little too overwhelming. It is lowkey my bible. Richard Carlson, you were the g.
