Khaleel 3: Tall, Dark & Deadly
Khaleel Hunter is one of the most successful attorneys in the Houston area, but he has a deep, dark secret that he’s been keeping from his loved ones. As much as he tries to maintain and be that upstanding guy everyone presumes him to be, certain things seem to always push him over the edge. He and Erica are in a really good place until their world is rocked when his side chick, Candace shows up on their doorstep, wanting Khaleel to acknowledge that he’s father of her unborn child.
When Khaleel fails to step up, Candace continues to stir the pot, but she wasn’t ready for Khaleel to stir it back. When women keep popping up dead, Erica begins to suspect her man may be involved somehow. As Khaleel continues to show up with suspicious marks, will Erica finally take the rose-colored glasses off and realize that she’s been sleeping with the enemy the entire time?
Sullivan and his mother are at a point of no return. He finally has to come to terms with his mother’s gambling problem when he’s faced with a life or death situation. The two come to blows and his mother pulls the only card she has left. What can be so bad that a mother will turn against her own son?

Spoiler!! Khaleel was an egotistical a**hole that got away with murder. Erica a 'detective' that let's his secret remain a secret, while the deaths of those women go unpunished. She has a daughter, what if she came across a 'Khaleel'??😡 Support your husband, but do it with him behind bars!! Well written, but can't get believe with his brutality that he gets an HEA!

This series was something else! Erica was a plum fool, I guess It’s true love makes you do crazy things. But bump that I can’t be with a serial killer!! I’m glad Sully was clear and found the love of his life! This author always takes us on a ride when she releases books!! Great Job, can’t wait to see what’s next 💯✔️

The series was good until that sick ending. I WAS TRULY DISAPPOINTED OF THE ENDING BECAUSE IT IS NOT FAIR THAT KHALEE GETS TO LIVE HIS HAPPILY EVER AFTER WHEN THOSE WOMEN ARE DEAD. Also, Erica turn out to be a selfish stupid you know what. She claims she was fighting for the victims but she was full of s%$&.

All 3 books were unrealistic but, I don't think it was fair that Khaleel got away with murder. Erica has a daughter, and would she want her daughter to meet a man like Khaleel???? It definitely was not the ending that I was expecting. Some parts of the book were very unrealistic, in book 1, 2 & 3. How could a woman no matter how much she loves a man, find out that her man has killed over 10 “women” and not tell anyone? How could a woman that works for law enforcement know her man killed women and a pregnant woman at that, and not say anything, mot investigate if it was true? How could law enforcement find DNA under a victim’s fingernails and NOT search hard for the killer??? How could any woman want to live with a Killer around her children, talking about he is a good loving man. He is not a kind loving man. This nan killed his baby’s mother and his unborn child. That is not the definition of a loving kind nan. It took me more days to read book 3 because of all of the BS that was written in book 3. In my opinion it could have been better. I was very disappointed with the ending.

Now that's some kinda love
How could Erica live with Khaleel knowing what she knows? That's some kinda love right there, but with her being a woman and an officer of the law, I can't buy it. Sullivan was an idiot but I did sympathize with him for having to deal with such a callous, unloving mother. Glad she got what she deserved. This series was good and I loved the suspense. Makes you seriously think about trusting people when you're out there looking for a 'hook up'. That aspect of the book really gave me chills and these women were so dumb, given the constant news about a serial killer. The one I felt least sympathy for was Laci. Candace should have listened to her best friend; I knew her time was up after part 2's cliffhanger. Good reading.

WHAT THE...REALLY
This series was definitely different and the main character was something else. Khaleel was once savy, sneaky and deadly individual. He truly knew how to dupe the legal system and get away with all the terror he's caused the city. I just knew he would've gotten caught after Candace was found. God was on his side even after he told Erica his truth. Sullivan's mother got exactly what she deserved. I was completely shocked by Cambridge and Sullivan, would've never thought. Overall a great series.

I can't believe Erica she truly loved him! I hope Khaleel, will remain true and honor His wife! Silly Mom was so crazy!who would of thought Sully would find Happiness too. I loved the ending!!!! This was very well written! Definitely a Must Read.........

Another 5 ⭐️ series!
I wasn’t expecting that ending at all! Lady Lissa kept us in suspense throughout this series. I guess you must really love your man, when you can find out that he’s responsible for multiple murders, and still remain with him. I guess Erica and Khaleel was meant to be. I was totally surprised with the ending, maybe we’ll hear more about the detective and Sully’s relationship. By the way, Sully’s mom ways a piece of work!

Well Candace kept playing with fire and sure enough she got burnt.Sullivan was foul for what he did to Erica but after learning about his background and seeing Veretta in action,I totally understood why he was the way he was.All he wanted was to be loved.As much as I wanna hate Khaleel for alllll the wrong he did, I’m glad he relented and changed his ways.Wasn’t expecting that ending but nonetheless all was well that ended well!

Erica really surprised me? Khaleel really clowned with his crazy azz! Sullivan and his momma shenanigans! His momma did the most! With the LDK still on the loose and the polixe/FBI still are no closer to catching him and Sullivan finds himself in more hot water; however, justice prevails. God gives Khaleel. Second chance and Erica is right by her mans side! What a hell of an ending ?

Great read!!
What can I say about this series. This book had so many twists and turns. I'm still in shock. I'm so glad things turned out as they did. I've never rooted so much for a bad guy. Khaleel was the man. He had many faults but he was so meaning to his wife and family. He had so much to love to give. Thank you Lady Lissa excellent writing.

I don’t have to word to even describe how I feel about this book when I say it was a prefect description of how to get away with murder that’s exactly what I get Khaleel was a blessing and a curse depending on how u looked at it I can say that it’s a page turner and a true mystery of what is to come I guess sinners have souls too

This book was a long read it couldn't hold my interest with a man that was attorney good family killing women because they couldn't handle his sex and women was stupid she believed every thing out his mouth and the detective got blame for the murders because of his partner it should have been some one else.

One heck of a rollercoaster ride
Oh my gosh, where do I start???? First off, Khaleel was one heck of a man! Erica is a remarkable woman, she stood by her man no matter what. Sully deserved a happy ending, I'm glad he found love. Cambridge came at the perfect time. Over all this was the one!!!!

Erica, you're an FBI agent? Denial trumps your investigative instincts when you're in "love".
Why was Sully's mother the way she was with him?
I think the ending was fitting. Yes. The story could be revisited, but I think that would only work if there was some type of retribution for the murders or it went into a new direction.
This was an interesting series.

I enjoyed this whole series had me on edge I wanted him to myself in a twisted kind of way. This book made you want to feel all kind of emotions. The ending was different then what I expected it to be but still enjoyed it.

I was quite pleased with this book series.
Some times you have to vote for the one who is doing the crime. By virtue of the fact that Khaleel was seeking help is a testament that he did not want to kill anyone. But he had a sexual addiction and did not know how to handle it.
