As one of my portfolios is to oversee the development and maintenance of our CRM platform, I thought this would help me better understand my work. However, I think the trouble with this book is that it is written with the presumption that the reader is, if not an expert, at least moderately familiar with how such systems work and operate. For example, many technical terms were used without any explanation of their meaning.

Overall, the conclusion I came to was that the best way to learn is just to pick things up along the way on the job.
