At forty-five years old, Olin wants more than the mind-blowing addiction of his on-again-off-again relationship with Ashley. He's not satisfied only getting his sweet reward whenever Ashley calls the shots.
He's putting his foot down.
It's time.
Like Rollo, Chief, and Jett, it's time for Olin to strengthen Brikken Motorcycle Club and settle down. He wants Ashley in his house, having his babies, and letting him take care of her. She's the one for him, and he's ready to dedicate the rest of his life to her.
As a child of divorce, Ashley lacks faith in men to stick around and be faithful when the road gets rocky. Though her love for Olin has remained steady since her teenage years, their relationship has more than the average ups and downs. But, Olin has proven himself time and again, and she isn't getting any younger. Pushing all the what-ifs and fears to the side, she fully commits to him and their dream for the future.
Except, nothing is ever easy when she's with Olin. Before she can accept the changes and hope for their life together, her nightmare starts in a flash of blue and red lights.
What she soon faces is something no woman should ever have to experience. She sacrifices mind, heart, and soul for someone more important than her. Through the devastating pain, she must find the strength to resurrect herself and hope the man she's always wanted will still love her.

Olin is book 3 in the Brikken Motorcyle Club Saga and my first 5 stars for this author. I loved this book from beginning to end. I was frustrated, happy, heartbroken and then I was put back together again. I want to start by saying Ashley frustrated me in the beginning and all I wanted to do was give her a good shake. Twenty-five years with her on again off again love of her life Olin and she was still pushing him away, convinced that he would never stay forever. Olin was fantastic and all he ever wanted was Ashley. As far as he was concerned, she would always belong to him. So, when she finally decided to follow her heart it all fell apart. This was when my heart just broke and while the decisions she made may have not been for everyone I completely agree with what she had to do. When Olin and Ashley are finally together again, their passion and love for each other shined so bright. I'm already reading Thorn's book.
DNF @ 23% I am a HUGE fan of this series but this book just isn’t the same caliber as the first two. (First book received 4.5 Stars and Book #2 received 5 Stars in my reviews) I was hoping Olin was going to hook up with Syds Sister but instead our Leading Lady is Ashley. Now their romance has been on again off again mess for 23 years! If they haven’t figured out a way to make it work yet I’m really not interested in them rehashing all their insecurities and issues over again. This book was a pass for me. I am on pins and needles for the last book and please please have the book follow the format of the first 2 in the series!!
The plot: Olin and Ash have been having an on-again off-again relationship for a good 23years. They finally decide to move in together but fate has something else instore as Ashley finds herself in the middle of a situation that takes her away from Olin for a good 3years.. even worse, she finds out that the one thing they both wanted so much (🤰🏻) has come true but can she manage to have it while away.. and will their relationship withstand the misfortunes being thrown their way...
My thoughts: The first 40% really didn’t excite me at all because it centered on the push pull relationship between Olin and Ash. I didn’t even know what kind of relationship (if any) they had🤷🏽♀️ there was mention of constant fighting which also led me to believe Olin might have done better with a different h. Plus 23years ??? Are u kidding me...😳 that’s too long to be playing games of uncertainty.. I really feel the author would have created a whole new and better feel of the book by cutting that period down to at most 10years later.. not a whole 23years..
Now post-40%... . At this point I’m literally chocking up in my feelings. I always try to avoid books that talk about infertility issues and couples struggling to have babies because it’s all too familiar.. so I could feel how bitter sweet it all was for Ash to get this news in her predicament.. ultimately, I loved Olin for stepping up and just being the ultimate bad boy .
I hated the epilogue though😒 why the heck did .
Outside of that I’m looking forward to Thorns book. He is funny AF and I hope in his book this is really brought out.. he speaks my language... it’s called sarcasm..in Jett’s book he mentions that he didn’t inherit the gene of liking children (hilarious🤣🤣🤣) and in this book he sounds like his been dipping and dabbing in multiple and multitudes of women so I’m curious already! Debra Kayn, please give us a strong leading lady 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I didn't care for Ashley in Chief of Jett. I found her bratty, and selfish. After reading Olin, I see her through a new light. The strength and determination is powerful. So unselfishly she chose.
Only started this one today and I couldn’t put it down, such an emotional read, I needed my tissue I was crying to hard. Poor Ashley and what she went through, no mother should have to go through that and I never hated Ashley for her decision, I understood exactly why she did what she did.
Always a pleasure to read one of Debra's stories. This one took me completely by surprise. I never dreamed it would be Ashley going to prison! Then she finds she is pregnant...in prison...and once her baby boy is born she has to make heartbreaking choices. Olin, always her rock, can't believe she turns him away and he carries the bitterness throughout Ashley's incarceration. He has to carry on for his son's sake.
Loved it! Great variation from the usual men being in trouble.
This series only gets better with each book! I ups, downs, twists and turns. I laughed, I cried, I got mad and I fell in love with Olin and Ashley. I get why Ashley did what she did and I'm so happy Olin was able to realize and hear her out for the sake of their family and a happily after they both deserved.
Jeez Olin and Ashley don't do things by halves. They have loved each other for years but Ashley has some insecurities from her past. An unwanted and unexpected separation leaves them wondering for the future.
I liked this one. Instead of being the man that goes to jail it was the heroine. It gave a different perspective. Would have been a 4 but mixing the names up a lot was bad. The heroines name is Ashley not Sydney🤦🏽♀️
I love that this series has stories that are out of the ordinary. It's important to me as a reader to get lost the story's journey, and this book and the series do not disappoint! Must read for sure!
This has been a great series. I loved Chief which was the first book and then Jett. I couldn’t wait for Olin. Olin lived up to my expectations. Bring on Thorn!
Think this book was my favourite so far in this series, really good storyline with a twist i didn't see coming and I had a few tears reading parts of the book
Totally loved this addition to the series! Olinda and Ashley have always been together since they were younger. Lots of drama with sexiness added in too. Great read!
Ashley and Olin are strong together! Olin and Ashley have been in an on-again-off-again relationship for years. Olin wants a family with Ashley and he's determined to get what he wants. Ashley is a child of divorced parents and doesn't believe that men can be faithful. She loves Olin but hasn't been able to trust him. When they finally decide to be together, life has other plans. Ashley is forced to sacrifice her life in order to save those she loves and Olin must find the strength to accept her decision and come to terms with the fact that he can't help the woman he loves. Will their love be strong enough to survive? An amazing and heartbreaking story of love and sacrifice! I admired both Ashley and Olin for their resilience and determination! Debra Kayn is an author to admire!
Great read from beginning to end! Had me angry, crying and happy. Couldn't stop reading about two strong characters (Ashley & Olin). Love how he made her feel and his son. Can't wait for another story.
