Chance Reddick #2

Angel of Justice

Rate this book
In Las Vegas, women are waking up thinking a single night has passed, only to find out that they've been considered missing for a month or more, and then learning that they are being charged with murder in other cities. When one of them turns out to be the daughter of Chance and Gabriella's friend Carmelita, Chance decides to look into the matter.

What he finds is a nightmare of mind control, with the only tenuous connection between the victims being a trip to drug rehab two years earlier. Unfortunately, that connection falls apart, so Chance is forced to keep digging. He's in a race against time to stop someone who's using innocent people as deadly weapons, destroying their lives in the process, and now he's got the FBI looking for him, as well. It's going to be a fast-paced roller coaster ride for the Angel of Justice, as he ducks and dodges the authorities in order to deliver justice to the person behind these horrible crimes.

Justice, Reddick Style. Chance Reddick

A solid read. It can easily stand on it's own without having read the two that precede it. Archer does a good job giving past details without boring the reader with pages and pages of previous history. This story takes place Mike's from where he's sequestered himself. In the course of his investigation, Riddick learns similar cases in different cities are taking place where young women are finding themselves with no memory, no job and learning a month has passed where they think it's only been a day. Oh, and they find themselves arrested for a brutal murder of someone they've no idea who with strong evidence they were the only possible killer. The only thing in common with all the other murder cases? They've absolutely no memory for the past month! Or is it all that's common between them? The Angel of Justice finds its not and they are brainwash victims. So who's pulling the proverbial trigger that sends these killers out? Chance and a washed up, drunken
PI have to figure that out before these women are tried for murder. Start reading now for one book you can't put down!

Excellent read.

Chance strikes again. Raguel has been busy, fatal encounters for people behaving badly.
Interesting scenario, where one particular group of former addicts, treated at the same time by a female doctor, become assassins upon hearing a certain phrase. Having been previously programmed to assume this alter ego on command
They are informed their victim is out to harm some one close to their alter ego, & must kill them to protect loved ones.
Well thought out, feasible & possible, which just makes it a tad uncomfortable reading.

I started to read book 3 by accident and was reading about Chances working for this Dixon guy as a PI and living outside of Vegas and I said, "what, I must have missed something." I had the entire book 2 Angel of Justice. Wow, what a great read I would have missed. With all the new characters and twists and turns, this third book would have seemed like it had a lot of holes in it. Fortunately, I went back and read book 2 and I'm grateful I did. Awesome read that sort of reminds me of a current day Charles Bronson in Death Wish.

Angel of Justice

I enjoyed the latest book in the Chance Reddick Series, the main theme was Brainwashing, using hypnosis and drugs. During the Cold War Era, the CIA experimented with this combination to eliminate enemies. In this story people are committing Horrendous crimes and they have no memory of it. Chance gets involved to help a Family Friend whose daughter has been charged with First Degree Murder and she has no memory of it. Great storyline and a very believable Ending.

Very good read

Quick moving with a very plausible storyline. I read the first Chance Riddick book in a day as I couldn't put it down. The Angel of Justice took a bit longer in that i wanted to enjoy it a little bit more. I favor the idea off vigilante justice since it is apparent in today's world the govt., the courts, and the bleeding hearts haven't the guts or the common sense to put criminals away permanently. Archer does a convincing job win his character development and book is not to overdone in it's telling of every little detail that is not really necessary.

Raguel is on the Prowl

Ok, this kid Chance, after reading these first two books in the series has definitely grown in me. I like him! A lot! I really hope he and Pete and Josie will be able to work together again in the future but I suspect that would detract from the anonymity that Chance would need to accomplish his self imposed mission in life. Ready for the next installment. Bring it In David!

Another masterpiece of thriller fiction writing. Second book in this action packed Angel of Justice series. Outstandingly read. Couldn’t put the book down.
Love the character of Chance. It may only be the second in the series but you just feel it’s going to get better. That’s of course if he doesn’t get caught by the FBI. He won’t , will he?

Great action thriller

Loved the second book in this series. The main character is realistic and even tough some pieces of the puzzle fell into place too quick i really enjoyed the book. The idea of an angel of justice was executed fairly well and the idea of assassins being hypnotized captured me. Recommended.

Justice nothing like it

Sometimes you need help solving a problem and that in turns brings knowledge. Helping a family friend uncovers a nightmare no one should have to face not knowing what they have done or lose control of their mind. Lots of twists and justice but for how long?

A Great New Chance Reddick Book

Chance Reddick is back, along with the "Angel of Justice", in this really action packed novel. The bad guys have come up with a terrifying twist that will keep you turning the pages.

Another great one

While murdering is really not something I enjoy about, Archer makes me wish that there was an angel of justice. But the plot line. Ames for a great and exciting ride.
I love DAVID Archer’s books-read them all.

I enjoyed this book. Chance gets involved in a couple of murder cases, where the women who committed them, can't remember. Chance and a former PI set out to investigate. They find a twisted plot behind these and other murders. This is a good book and I look forward to the next o

Taking a Chance

Before reading this book I had almost forgotten the character. As soon as I started reading it came back to me quickly. It was a good story, even though a bit sluggish at times. The Angel lives to fight another day.

Angel of JuStice

An interesting psychological mystery. The characters were of special interest, each with his or her own problems. This was not a happy book but I enjoyed watching the plot develop. I would recommend it.

Chance magic

Chance Reddick continues his reign as the "Angel of justice in a well plotted story of mind control, murder and mayhem. I think that the writing is up there with the best of Sam Prichard stories. Have fun 📚!🐱👍👍👍👍👍

Superb

Chance character is so simple, so realistic. It is so refreshing to see a heroine and the good guy finish last. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. Chance my hero. He has such a simplistic view of right and wrong that is so endearing. Phenomenal

A little predictable and treated readers as simpletons. Everything does not have to be explained. Premise a good idea tho
