After leaving university, Helena started her teaching career in Japan where she worked for six years, teaching first in a high school and then in a junior college in Nagasaki. She has also taught in the UK. She worked as an editor and publisher for Longman for several years and is now a freelance editor and writer of ELT materials, along with the odd (sometimes very odd!) pantomime for her local theatre group.
She has written several titles for Longman, Macmillan, Langenscheidt and Orient Blackswan.

One of the worst language books ever. The so called one-to-one ideas are a joke. I can just hope that the third, revised edition can offer more.
