A concise introduction to the physics of low speed fluid mechanics, emphasising fundamental concepts and methods. This text is designed as a single semester coursebook providing a foundation in continuum mechanics. Only a basic knowledge of differential calculus is assumed at the start of the text.
The 1st Edition of this book (which according to Goodreads doesn't exist) came with an erratum page which listed "the most important" errors in the main text. 'Nuff said. Presumably by 1997 the book is basically sound.
