Just when Ki’Asia has decided her family means more to her than the streets, her world is turned upside down, and the one person that has been able to bring some calmness to her warped reality is taken away. In addition, the only man that has been able to actually step up to the plate and be the man she needs is now lying in a hospital bed.
Thinking that their enemies have been defeated, Ki’Asia has the slightest idea where to begin looking until someone requests a meeting with her. That meeting opens up the door to Ki’Asia finding out that her father was right all along—she was never the target. This mystery person has been after Firm the entire time. But with Firm in a coma, this person remains just that—a mystery.
When Firm finally awakens from the coma, the last year of his life has been lost, and he is not able to provide any insight on the tragic details that claimed his daughter’s life. But a visit from someone changes that, and suddenly, things begin to unravel all at once. The past has a way of catching up with us, and in the finale, both Ki’Asia’s and Firm’s have come back with a vengeance. When the last person you’d least expect is standing in front of the barrel of Ki’Asia’s gun, will she fold, or will she continue to reign as Queen City’s Finest?
Maureen had some serious issues and in her sick mind she really thought her actions were justified when envy and jealousy all played a part. Walt should've just told Tyleek and Ki'Asia what was going on before things got out of hand. Anise was on one real hard and deserved every ass cutting she got. I felt for Tyleek once he found out what everyone was trying to hide but I knew he wouldn't let too much go. Divine got a chance to see up close and personal how his baby girl got down and how crazy she was once in her element. So many things began to make sense once all the pieces began to come together. One would think Maureen would realize what she went through wasn't normal and would protect Ki'Asia but she was unstable. I'm glad Ki'Asia was finally able to give Maureen what she should've gotten many years ago. Tyleek and Ki'Asia went through their share of enemies but it was good knowing it did nothing to destroy their bond. I still loved Desiree and Trapp and how they were always ready to ride for their best friends. They all had to lose in order to learn the game loved no one but in the end they made the best decision for their own happiness and peace of mind.
Well I’ll be damned! What an unexpected turn of events.who would have known that this weasel was behind all this drama! I definitely didn’t! Fantastic job of having us wondering and assuming who the snake really was until the very end🙄🙄. Love it though! I truly believe that Sparkle Lewis achieved what she had set out to do and delivered it with ease. Not only that this book/series is a page turner, but it was equally entertaining, drama filled, suspense filled and guessing filled (yes it’s my new word😜😜🤓). Excellent read and you won’t be disappointed! Go check it out!
Sparkle, Sparkle, Sparkle when I say you did the darn thing with this book that is an understatement...you never ceases to amaze me. I absolutely loved it. Just when I thought I had something figured out bam you threw in another twist...I cried and laughed throughout the whole book...I love the way it ended..I can go for some more Divine...this is most definitely a must read series. This is more than a 5 star book...Awesome job Sparkle...
Great way to end a great series. Couldn't believe the way this book ending, didn't see that coming at all. So many secrets were revealed towards to end and I was shocked. Maureen was a piece of work and then some, what kind of mother was she. Ki'Asia endured so much with her mother being the root of it. Love me some Divine and can never get enough of him. Enjoyed the way it ended, and everything worked out. Good job on this series Sparkle Lewis,
This finale here smh. This book was exactly what I needed and more! It had me full of anxiety trying to figure out what was going on. When I say I never even thought it was what it was! I was completely blown away! Like it was so it what I expected. I was mad for Ki’Asia I was like let us pray! I went from crying, to laughing, to Shock! Outstanding I can’t wait to see what’s next.
What a way to wrap up the series. Ki has been through A LOT! To loose someone the way she did and to find out whose responsible?! It's understandable how crazy she is! Her childhood set her up to be the biggest savage. I experienced so many emotions with this one, glad to see things worked out as they should've, for better or worse.
This series was very good. Maureen was a messed up individual. This is my first time reading this author I was not disappointed 😄I will definitely be reading other books from this author
I couldn't wait to find out who the mystery "man" was after reading part one! The twists and unexpected turns in part two will leave your mouth hanging open 😯
This was such a good series... There was so much going in in here I could not put this book down... The build up and anticipation had me all on the edge of my seat... Just when I had everything all figured out... Nope... There was more information coming out... Then this ending.... Wow Ki'Asia delt qith a lot in this book.. Not only that but she had to do it all alone... This girl right here was so strong... I mean her weakest moment is most peoples strongest moment... That goes to show you how strong she was... Then while dealing with her daughters death and her husband in a coma she was dealing with unnessary B.S. from Tyleek's sister... I just don't understand why... I don't think there was really a good explanation of why but let's just say that Ki'Asia delt qith that like s woman... I am glad that she had some really good people in her corner especially when her dad was able to step in and help her... Her mother was a bad joke... Like what mother just neglects her child when they need them the most... Well I didn't like her mother from the beginning and now knowing what I know... I was right in th me way I felt about her mother... Tyleek woke up to the most devastating news ever... Yet he had the best woman by his side.... I was glad that he let her take the lead with all of this because he was definitely not in the right frame of mind... It's crazy that those closest to you can hurt you way worse than your enemies or people you don't know... In both Tyleek and Ki'Asia's situation this is what happened to both of them... Memories started coming back and secrets started to be revealed.... Man with families like that who needs enemies... If you cant trust your own family... Then who can you trust... I really enjoyed this series and they way things all played out... Glad to see that Tyleek and Ki'Asia could finally find the happiness they deserve... Even after all that they had been through and lost...
