About the author

Author Soraya Diase Coffelt is a native of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. She is the mother of two sons, a lawyer, and a former judge. She loves ministering to children. Active in her church, she served as a parent volunteer in the children’s ministry and then as a volunteer lay children’s minister and leader for over 15 years. She has also participated in Christian missionary trips to Honduras and the Amazon River Region of Peru, providing food, medicine, clothing and toys. Her late husband, Gordon, supported her wholeheartedly.

In 2012, she established a non-profit foundation - As the Stars of the Sky Foundation, Inc. - to assist with the physical and spiritual needs of children, especially promoting literacy. She profoundly believes that reading helps children achieve their divine destinies. All proceeds from book sales go toward the Foundation. We greatly appreciate your help.
