This is not my first read of these three books, but I enjoy coming back and taking a second look and looking for what I might have missed the previous time. This time I paid close attention to the antagonists’ character make up. What fuels these characters? Why turn towards murder? Is it the sense of power, of deciding who lives or dies? In all three of these books, the killers are so self-righteous? I really enjoy watching hing Eve bring them down to size.
As I mentioned in a previous post readers should note that although the Eve Dallas books really don’t depend on each other for readers to enjoy them, and most are stand alones, reading them in order is very helpful. At the very least, read the first three to lay the foundation for the rest of the series.
