My name is Michele Pollock Dalton; and, I am an unapologetic romantic.

Although I have been writing since early childhood, I have only recently overcome my reticence about sharing the stories that I create.

Most days are spent wheeling around after a remarkable little boy that I love with all my heart. And, sometimes I put my domestic goddess skills to work, so we don't have to run around naked =)

White chocolate truffles and faith fuel my writing endeavors; and, my sincere hope is that the characters I invent resonate with folks who need a bit of inspiration to face their day

Fantastic!!

I was given a copy of this book for an honest review. Book #2 of the “Out of Africa” series was fantastic!! Michele Pollock Dalton carried the story of Catherine & John forward brillantly. They go thru the trials & tribulations of married life, a busy body motherly figure, and Catherine’s health issues by relying on their faith and each other. I highly recommend reading this series. You won’t be disappointed.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review. This sequel to "Out of the Ashes" continues with John and Catherine's story, and is equally enthrallingly gripping and unputdownable! Michele takes on some tough life horrors that exist in our fallen world and shows how God weaves his beautiful tapestry amongst the messy threads of life. One of the themes Michele explores is the sanctity, beauty and mutual enjoyment of sex in the God-designed context of marriage. Whilst I appreciate the vivid imagary of discovery and delight of this relationship between John and Cat, the uncensored detail is far too much for my personal tastes, even as a married Christian! But I respect Michele's rationale for this depth of detail as explained in her forward. Readers who enjoy real gritty stories, that grapple with life, will love this series (as long as they don't mind the heated sensuality!) A 5 stars from me.

Another fantastic story.
I really enjoy these characters, and was happy that wE get to spend more time with John and Catherine, and Mavis and Lloyd.
Mavis reminds me of some elderly ladies I know.
I think every good story has to have a meddling busybody who means well, but usually messes up.
Seriously though, there were a lot of tough issues in this story and i think they were really well handled. They weren’t glossed over, or made light of. But examined with a christian world view. solutions weren’t easy to come by. Sometimes things remained unresolved. I love the way the characters don’t yet have all the answers. They have their times of great faith, but also great doubt. It keeps the story real and believable, and gives us readers something to relate to.

I will be anxiously awaiting for the next book. The audio version of out of desperation.
The Narration was wonderful as usual. The narrator did really well giving all the characters a voice.

Great job.

loved every minute of it.
