An artistic dreamer who enjoys fresh air around his man parts and practicing mind manipulation seeks a new start with a paranoid, alien abducted female. All highly strung, anxious humans welcome!

Rane is an Olickie - a diplomatic support advisor who is tired of massaging the egos of overpaid administrators. His enhanced mind manipulation ability makes him invaluable. One day, after almost derailing peace talks, he discovers he's not as important as he thought he was.

Nell is sick of aliens. She thinks they're weird, freaky, and they give her the chills. This wouldn't be a problem if she didn't surround herself with them every day. She has to, it's her job as a matchmaker at My Single Alien. It's also a way to help get free from the crippling fear she has about her own alien abduction. Nothing she does works. Nell just doesn't get the attraction to aliens, and the daily battle she faces with her terror is ruining her.

One night, Nell stumbles into Rane's art studio, and everything changes.

A deceitful shape-shifting alien and a devious diplomat threaten war, putting not only Nell and Rane's newfound happiness at risk but the whole space station.

Can Nell overcome her past and work with Rane to save the station and stop a war? Does she find out what happened to her when she was abducted? And can Nell find love with a mind manipulating alien or is she destined to be alone?

This is My Single Alien, so anything is possible, but you wouldn't be here if you didn't love a happy ending.

This is book 5 in the My Single Alien sci-fi romance universe. It's full of adventure, lots of action, and a whole lot of 'not so little' green alien love!

Rane

What can I say this was another great story the whole series so far has drawn me in and kept me entertained. Nell is a matchmaker for My Single Alien but what nobody knows is that she hates aliens because she was abducted and tested on and no one understands how she feels except her new therapist so she puts up this wall to protect herself. Rane is a diplomatic support adviser who has had enough of politicians and the peace talks and just wants to paint but for an Olickie that’s not supposed to happen they don’t believe in that kind of stuff it’s unheard of but his father was the same and is now an outcast. So how do two people come together with so many differences and make it work and fall in love. Read this book to find out more.

A great story, interesting and intriguing, Nell had me addicted to this story right from the beginning. Her alien abduction story was holding her back and she needed help. She was alienating a lot of people. Rane was gifted in his abilities but wasn't living his best life. They go from Nell avoiding Rane to being best friends and more. The mind bending plot is enhanced by the war mechanizations. It's a great story! You'll love it!

Good read

I am new to this author. Once I started with her first book in this series I have been immersed in her work. This book is part of series on male aliens matched to human females. Though the plot is familiar, Ms. Shields brings a fresh approach. She is great with both world and character building while making it sexy. I don't want to spoil this for the next reader, so just know I read this story in one sitting. Enjoy!

i received an advanced copy of this book from the author. I freely leave this honest review. I liked it. The clashing of Rane's duty and his passion was very good. Nell was something else with her dancing. Loved the neck frill!

Rane

This was interesting and intriguing. Different from her usual fare of the space station. Is the next book about Diadora? Is it to be the last? Will have to keep looking for the books and reading.

Scary but good.

There were a lot of scary scenes in this story. Luckily Nell met Rane. He helped rescue her and then she rescued him. Sweet.
