I am the perfect girlfriend. That may sound arrogant, but it’s true. It’s also not something I brag about. Somewhere along the way, I lose myself in every relationship. No more! I am done with men. There’s just one problem—an ex who won’t go away. I need to prove to him that things are over and I’ve moved on.
That’s how I ended up making a deal with the devil, or in this case, a rock star hottie named Xander. In exchange for teaching Xander how to make the perfect waffles, he agrees to pretend we’re dating. The plan is simple. At least, it seems simple until Xander decides to change the rules.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to be a rock star. Now, my dreams are coming true. I’ve got it all—hot groupies, a great band, and a big record deal. There’s only one thing missing from my life. No, it’s not the love of a good woman. It’s delicious waffles. At least, that’s what I thought until I started trying to convince Cami to make her perfect waffles for me. I still want the waffles, but they aren’t what I’ve been dreaming about for the last few months. My nights are plagued with dreams of Cami.
When she asks me to pretend to be her boyfriend, I immediately agree. Cami may think she’s done with men, but I’m going to use any means necessary to prove her wrong. I am going to make her realize that she doesn’t have to change a damn thing to be the perfect girl for me.

Might be my favorite so far!
This is my 3rd book by this author and in this series I'm binging and loving right now. Xander was a curiosity for me, sexy lead singer of Reckless Release and the attention grabbing, comedic relief of the band, it seemed. But everything is not always as it seems! Under all that fun and games persona was a man with a heart of gold who somehow found himself wanting what his friends were finding..some good old one woman only loving! He's is flirty, hot and dirty wherever he goes but he knows now what his heart needs and this gorgeous man gets what he wants.
Cami, best friends with Bentley and now friend of the band because of her connection with it, lives the life of the 'perfect girlfriend' and everybody's friend. She works hard as a child psychologist and racks up boyfriend miles in her spare time. These guys only see what she wants them to see and it's not who she really is under the mask of perfection. She has drawn the attention of the playboy of the band, Xander. He sees the real Cami and is dying to taste her..waffles, an on going joke with the breakfast treat obsessed lead singer! Cami's been holding him at arms length all this time, keeping their relationship strictly friends, but Xander keeps on trying anyway.
When Cami needs a big favor, Xan is right there, willing to help, but hoping for way more than she's offering. Will their friendship turn to more and can it last if it does? Cami is getting more than she bargained for with this man! Swoon, swoon, swoon, Xan is too irresistible!
Another fun and steamy chapter in this series that I'm enjoying so much! Next book please!

Cami has in the past tried to be the perfect girlfriend - concentrating only on his needs and losing herself and her identity in the way, so she has decided that is it - no more - if only she could get her ex to accept that things are really over. So she decides to make a deal with Xander (rock star and member of Reckless Release) if he pretends to be her new boyfriend she will teach him how to cook perfect waffles like she does. The plan seems to be simple - until he decides to change the rules!
Xander has wanted to be a rock star since forever and you would think he now has it all but his life is missing delicious waffles (I kid you not). After many attempts to get Cami to make her perfect waffles for him he has stopped only dreaming about waffles and is now also dreaming about her. So it was like a gift when she asked him to pretend to be her boyfriend he gets not only the waffles but maybe he can now persuade her to change her mind about dating men and give him a try too?
I loved this story which had some classic themes that were cleverly woven in such a way that it was only towards the end that everything became clear (you'll see this when you get there). I liked the way it slowly developed into something more meaningful than just protection paid for with cooking lessons. It was lovely to see something good happen for Xander and Cami after the traded comments and pleadings for waffles throughout the previous two books in the series. It helps to know the background but I think you could read this stand alone if you really wanted to although they are great books so not sure why you would not want to. It was well written and everything was very clear and easy to understand. It was a nice light read that I definitely found myself reading faster as I got more into the story between Xander, Cami, the rest of the band, and Cami's ex.

Rocking Perfection was outstanding and A ROCKING GOOD TIME! A witty read with sexy scenes, a bit of drama, a good plot and great characters! I was never one of those readers that got into a lot of romances featuring rock stars, but Cassandra Lawson's rock star romances are easy to love.
Xander is a good hero. Likable, gorgeous, charming in a very fun way while Cami is heroine I think is mega awesome! She is tough, kind, good and loyal and is pretty fun. Her and Xander fit. They had amazing chemistry. And their banter had me smiling and rooting for them the entire time! I can't get enough of these books by Miss Lawson!

I enjoyed the story of Cami and Xander... Through this series you always see a little spark going on between them, and I am glad to see they finally made it together!
Cami is in need of a "boyfriend" due to her ex continuously bothering her... and on a whim she chose Xander.... He agrees to this set up if she agrees to teach him how to make waffles... Waffles are his thing...and the rest of the band is really tired of waffle nights.... she agrees and so things begins... I have to say...they next time i make waffles i will be thinking back to these two playing strip waffles...LOL
I enjoyed this story along with the rest of the series.... I look forward to the next installment.

I've read the other books on this series and loved them so I requested an ARC as soon as I find out about this one. It was awesome. It was hard not to fall in love with Xan and his honesty and openness. He joked about being the perfect boyfriend, but he really was!
The first time Xan and Cami met (in a previous book), it was clear they were meant to be together. That didn't take away from the fun of the two of them discovering just how much they could love one another. There weren't any contrived misunderstandings or disagreements, though there was some mostly unexpected drama from outside of the relationship. It was a simple, yet powerful story of friends to lovers and I loved it!

Cami is a doctor, she’s strong, independent, sexy and makes the best waffles ever. Xander is a rock star, sexy, handsome, gifted in every way and his love of waffles has the band going out for waffle night because since they left LA Xander can’t find anywhere good to eat waffles. It was inevitable that these two would end up together. Their chemistry was off the charts. How my Kindle didn’t burst into flames I’ll never know. This story had mystery, great situations, great times with friends never a dull moment. I recommend it highly.

I loved this story, Cami and Xander are perfect for each other but Cami can't believe that just yet. And when her ex Mitch ( Glitch) is causing trouble, she can't help herself to ask Xander for help.
Xander's quest for the perfect waffles get's a large push in the right direction and when Cassandra throws in a deliciously unexpected twist into the whole mix, you are bound to get a book that you just can't put down. You gotta read this one people!! :-)

This series is awesome!!! Xander and Cami is a friends to lovers romance that pulls out all the feels. I love how this author combines romance with truly captivating story lines and amazing characters. Each book is a stand alone story but if you haven’t read the other books in this series you are missing out on some wonderful stories. As always can’t wait for the next one!!!!
