Looks can be deceiving in this hilarious enemies-to-lovers romcom complete with a shocking secret hobby, a heavy metal playlist, and an uninvited wedding guest!

Chris Everson has a pretty sweet life: a great job as a state trooper, lots of buddies to hang out with, and he lives at the beach. What could be better? But he’s harboring a secret--a secret that doesn’t fit with his whole tough guy cop persona. He’s gone to great lengths to keep his secret from his guy friends AND the women he dates.

Brynne Miller’s job as an ER doctor means she’s always meeting cops. In fact, she’s dated so many that her friends call her “Badge Bunny.” But she will never date Chris Everson. Nope. Not a chance. He managed to piss her off within two seconds of meeting him...and first impressions are everything.

Aren’t they?

Badge Bunny is part of the Romance in Rehoboth Series, where the ladies are strong and independent and the men are actually nice guys. These delightful romantic comedies are set against the backdrop of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware's top vacation destination and do NOT need to be read in order.

Badge Bunny a person who dates A LOT of cops; is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery and my first book by this author. I love small town romance because secrets are never secrets for long.

Chris and Brynne don’t like each other much at first or should I say Brynne doesn't care for Trooper A**Hat at first. When Chris and Brynne stopped bickering and let their feeling move forward, it was an emotional sweet cute story. There is so much to this story other than two people meeting and falling in love.

If the first three books are anything like this enjoyable funny slow burn Rom Com than I need to go back and start this series from the beginning, this group of friends are hilarious.

Badge Bunny is the latest instalment in the ‘Romance in Rehoboth’ series by K.L Montgomery. It is such a great Rom Com/Enemies to Lovers story- and has taken top billing as my favourite of Ms. Montgomery’s books, so far. It could definitely be read as a standalone, even though it is the fourth book in the collection, as the series is made up of standalone stories- each book centres on its own particular couple, but the common factor is that the stories are all are set against the backdrop of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. But, I really do recommend reading all the other books too- because they are wonderful stories in their own rights.
Brynne Miller is a busy ER Doctor, who has a penchant for a man in uniform, dating so many that she’s earned the nickname of “Badge Bunny’ (which she hates). But, Brynne has decided that they’re all the same, full of themselves- and has sworn off them all.
Chris Everson is a State Trooper who is a bit of a man’s-man. There is a lot more to him than meets the eye. His job means he frequents the ER on ‘business’. He’s immediately attracted to Brynne, but she is quite prickly and doesn’t give him a chance.
Brynne’s first impression of Chris was less than impressive- he annoys and frustrates her. But these two find themselves at the same wedding- and a major crisis demands that they work together to handle the situation.
With them both keeping things close to their chests, what happens when everything is revealed? Will Brynne let go of her first impression of Chris, admit that she’s attracted to him, and give him a chance? Does romance ever stand a chance of developing?
As I have said many times now, Ms. Montgomery is a masterful storyteller- easily able to tempt readers into her story and keep them completely hooked right from the beginning, till the very last word. I love how her story depicts characters that are realistic, believable, and relatable…. The fact that characters from other books also make appearances, is just the icing on the cake- getting to glimpse a little of what’s happening in their life too.
Superb!

Thank you, Ms. Montgomery!

This is the fourth book to the incredible Rehoboth series. This can be read as a stand alone but there are prior characters in this story as well. I love a good romance with some humor but this author has taken it above and beyond. This has become one of my favorite series of this year. These characters will keep you up at all hours of the night. I could not put this book down. It only took me a full day to devour this incredible story.

Brynne Miller loves being a emergency doctor. She loves helping people. Brynne always sees cops come and go at all hours of the night that is why she is attracted to them. She has dated quite a few cops and her friends call her the badge bunny. Brynne now has sworn off cops due to her last relationship. One night a new cop comes in and she immediately hates him. He is the typical cop that she knows but does she really? Brynne is loving her life but all of her friends are getting married. She wants the happy ending too but who is going to want a woman doctor as a wife. Brynne is told she is going to be in the wedding for her friend and she is paired up with none other that the hot cop ,Chris Everson. She has swore off cops but will this cop change her mind especially when she finds out his secret he has been hiding?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, humor, and love. You will fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. Brynne is a very smart woman that knows what she wants. She loves helping people but she has had some bad experiences throughout her life. Chris is my favorite male character of this year. He has a tough guy personality but deep down he is a teddy bear. The way he treats Brynne will make your heart swoon. I loved how this author wrote this book in both characters points of views. This makes me feel more connected to them. I can’t wait to see what this author will write for us next.

This is the fourth book in this series. This series can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest reading the previous three books as they are just as enjoyable. I enjoy this author's writing style as it is easy flowing and engaging. Her characters are enjoyable and lovable. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride from laughter to compassion. I enjoyed their relationship and how Brynne got her nickname. They were cute together. I highly recommend this book.

Badge Bunny by K.L. Montgomery a five-star read that will make you hop. This is book four in the Romance in Rehoboth series and my favourite of the whole series, the can be read as stand-alone but characters do pop up in each other’s stories, I have read as a series and enjoyed it as such. This book was sublime, I loved how Chris Everson the dark and broody Trooper who has a way with words that melt underwear as well as much else has this whole other side to him, he is such a playboy that I was convinced his secret was that he was a male entertainer, he just has the confidence for it. Needless to say, it’s not that but it will make your heart warm. Its not just him that isn’t what you expect on the surface, Brynne Miller is also not what she seems, a studious doctor on the surface, and a metal head badge bunny underneath, but just like deaf leppard she can change her spots, just because police officers are all she meets in her job, doesn’t mean she has to date them does it? This story will keep you hooked as they fight the drama and get ready for a wedding, will it all work in the end? You need to read the story to find out.

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Book 4) by K.L. Montgomery was a frustrating, fun, light hearted, sassy read that had me hooked from start to finish.

Not my first read by this author or in this series. This series follows the lives of different couples, all connected in some way. They are stand-a-longs, so no worries about reading out of order, but be warned, there are spoilers in these book, as they have recurring characters. So I do suggest reading these books in order.

Every time I read one these books, they just keep getting better and better, and I do hope there is more to come. These characters are so real and every book has a positive message, and I love how the romance is builded up. It gives you time to feel, and process, that these character do in fact love one another, and are falling hard. Nothing feels forced and that makes these, slightly, cheesy romances, all the more enjoyable. God I want this series to get pick up by the W network or just any network, or movie people.

There is only one thing that bother me about this book, it was a scene, and I don't want to say it cause, spoiler.. but I will say that it involved a cold water swim, in undies. That for me was a little unbelievable. Cause 1, one of the things I teach and have been taught is sea survival. It's all about surviving in cold water, and I will tell you no matter how good a swimmer you think you are, without proper gear, your ass isn't making it long, in a cold water swim. And 2, worst thing they did was take of their clothes. Smart thing would have been to layer up and get some life jackets. Believe it or not that layer of clothes creates a barrier, and warms with your body heat. Going in your skivvies, opens you up to heat loss faster. I don't believe I need to explain hypothermia.

Anyways, enough about that

This book follow's Chris Everson, if you have been following the series you know he makes appearance in the other books. He's a cop, good looking, and well, I don't want to tell you his other secret, cause that will ruin the fun and surprise. I've like him from the other books, and getting inside his head in this one, was a treat. He isn't how he appears, and in truth I loved him even more in this book, and though I liked my girl Brynne (This stories love interest), I got to say, Chris really stole the show for me. Brynne had her moments, she was unique, smart, quirky but hey, she didn't really grow you could say. Chris on the other hand went through a major change. He opened up, accepted that there's not labels on what is to be manly. He showed his true passion and fully embraced it.

Overall this book was a solid five for me, even with that one scene. This is that perfect late summer read, setting sun cool breeze. So please take my super high recommendation and stamp of approval. Because believe me when I say that you will not only fall in love with this unique cast of characters but with K.L. Montgomery writing.

Happy Reading

Gahhhh! I adored Badge Bunny from KL Montgomery. Montgomery is a one-click author for me and I generally get her books without even reading the synopsis because I know it will be amazing what I read between the covers if it is from her! I have adored every single book in the Romance in Rehoboth series. Each time I find myself saying, I love this couple the most out of all of the Rehoboth couples, then bam! KL throws me for a loop and I suddenly find myself changing my opinion after each book. I have personally read all the books available in this series, but they are written to where you don’t have to in order to enjoy each one. I would recommend that you do though because we see pieces of each couple throughout the series, and well they all rock. So why not? One-click the whole series and set aside a day to spend in Rehoboth!

In Badge Bunny we get the story of Chris and Brynne. These two were some really fun characters to read. Brynne is a doctor, but there is more to her than just that. In the past she has made the repeated mistake of falling for men with badges, hence her nickname of ‘Badge Bunny’. She isn’t a huge fan of the nickname, or the past hurts that these men have caused her. So she has decided to swear off men with a badge. This doesn’t really prove to be an issue until she runs into Chris at a wedding of mutual friends.

Chris, a state trooper and a badge man, has had a thing for Brynne from the moment he laid his eyes on her in the ER. It isn’t until they are forced to work together in a crisis at a friend’s wedding that he even gets a chance to get to know the real Brynne.

Both Brynne and Chris have secrets that will come into play and prose some issues that will need to be worked through together. When a romance starts to finally blossom between the two will they be able to find a way to make it work?

I can promise this will have you laughing side-splitting laughs out loud one moment, and choking back tears the next. Just the right balance of everything makes this an engaging and relatable novel to devour. I can’t wait to see what will come next from KL Montgomery!

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Book 4)
By: K.L. Montgomery
5 out of 5 stars

The story Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Book 4) by K.L. Montgomery is a romantic comedy. This is the next amazing, hilarious, and romantic story in a wonderful series that I just can’t get enough of. I was hooked from the very beginning and found myself get lost in the pages of the book. I loved reading about the characters of Chris Everson and Brynne Miller. Brynne is an ER doctor who is bold and not afraid to say what she thinks and feels. Her first opinion of Chris may not have been the greatest. She finds he can easily frustrate and rile her up. She is not giving in to his charms. Chris is attracted to Brynne from the first time he meets her. He is finding it hard to get her to give him a chance. Is there anything Chris can do that will change Brynne’s mind? Brynne’s first interactions with Chris prove to him that she can be snarky. She is also stubborn. All the while both Chris and Brynne find they have an attraction to each other, even as Brynne keeps saying no, no way. Will she give Chris a chance to show her that he is different than who she perceives him to be? What do the cards hold for Chris and Brynne? Will they find themselves falling for each other? Read this book to find out. I love that Brynne is a strong, sensitive, and caring woman. She is someone that I would want as a friend. Chris is a man that wants to help and protect others. That is why he is a state trooper. There are also other characters that make an appearance in this story. I love how some of them are from the previous books. It is like reconnecting with friends to find out how they are. This book had me both smiling and laughing out loud. It also had me rooting for Chris and Brynne to give themselves and each other a chance at happiness. This is a well-written story that I highly recommend reading. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Brynne is a doctor in the ER, and she doesn't like the nickname of Badge Bunny that she's earned. So she's done dating cops, they're all cocky anyways. So when she meets Chris in the ER, she's totally not interested, and even comes up with a fun nickname for him, well fun for her at least, he doesn't know about it.

As a state trooper, Chris has seen his fair share. He wants to get to know Bryne more, but she's making it really hard on him. He's a good guy, even if the guys at work are always ribbing him. They're both keeping secrets, some more painful than others. Getting these two together seems hopeless, not just because they both work odd hours, but because they're stubborn. Perhaps they will get to know each other better at Sonnet's wedding, after all, they are walking together down the aisle.

There were so many moments when something witty was written, and I laughed out loud, and as much as I want to share them here, I don't want to spoil those moments for the next reader. The body positive message of learning to accept your scars can be a hard one for many, and I appreciate that Montgomery has included this. Lastly, I love Chris and Brynne for being them, and I love when Brynne finally takes the plunge. "I have found a hundred and one reasons not to like him, but there seem to be a hundred and one more to fall in love..." *swoon*

Badge Bunny is a perfect addition to the Romance in Rehoboth series. I always tell myself, "well this couple is my most favorite" and then Montgomery gives us another couple's story, and I change my mind. It's because she's created such likable characters. You can read each of their stories individually, and then go on to read the next book. You meet old friends and fall in love with new ones, very well done!

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Book 4) by K.L. Montgomery

5 Stars

I'm not positive but Im thinking that this is my favorite so far in the Rehoboth series. Its hard because I have loved every one of them but this one was special I think. I loved this book and Chris and Brynne were awesome and I loved their story.

I love the way they started, I loved the way they interacted from that encounter to all of the scenes that followed. Chris’s secret was completely unique and not something I would have ever guessed and I loved it. I loved how others from the previous books were right there through a lot of it as well. One of my favorite parts of the story was Brynnes brother Ben and his wife Jamie and sweet little Harmony, that whole story made me smile.

The twists and turns were placed perfectly as usual and the message of facing your fears head on was very clearly described and had me on the edge of my seat for a bit. I wanted to smack both of them a few times, they made me so mad, but they also made me laugh more than once. The scene with him speaking about his dolphin had me rolling.

Once again this author has done nothing but make me fall more in love with her writing, her stories are smooth and flow so easily and before you know it you are done and are left always wanting more.

I highly recommend this book, this whole series which you don't absolutely have to read in order but I highly suggest you do because its simply awesome and I can't even recommend this author enough...She is hands down one of my absolute favorites and an automatic one click.

Loved it!!

Badge Bunny by author K.L. Montgomery is book four in the romance in Rehoboth series. This book can be read as standalone but after reading how brilliant this book is I'm gutted I didn't read these books in order and really get a feel for all the characters and their backstories. I will most definitely be going back and reading these. This author has a brilliant way of drawing you in with this book's characters and storyline and making it so easy to fall in love with these characters. Each of these books just keep getting better and better and I can’t wait to see what else this author brings to this series.

This book was witty, funny and was genuinely great feel-good read. I was hooked from the get-go until the end and honestly. I loved following Brynne & Chris’s journey through this book, they really made this story stand out and be even more enjoyable. Both of these characters are enjoyable, real, lovable. But together they make a great pair that I hope will finally see past their past and accept their future so that they can have a HEA.

Along with these characters we have some brilliant secondary characters that are great in helping our main characters Brynne & Chris on their journey through this read - I liked that we got the appearance of some other characters from previous books but with that being said I can't wait to read who’s story will be told next.

Overall this is a brilliant heart-warming, witty and fun read with real characters, that should not be missed.

Badge Bunny by KL Montgomery is book four of the Romance in Rehoboth series. This book can be read as a standalone but characters from the previous books are present in this book as well. This book is Brynne and Chris’ story.

Brynne doesn’t exactly find herself with a lot of free time due to her job. Therefore, she meets guys the only way she can. She can’t help that they happen to be police officers. But even so, her coworkers have dubbed her with the badge bunny nickname. She swears she’s done dating police officers after the last disaster but she certainly doesn’t expect to meet Chris shortly after swearing them off.

Chris is a Delaware State Trooper and finds himself pretty smitten with Dr. Miller. He can’t stop thinking about her and it works out in his favor that he’ll be spending a weekend in close proximity to her for his best friends wedding.

A series of events had Brynne and Chris bonding. Brynne starts to realize Chris may not be as bad as she originally portrayed him in her mind. Can Brynne let the police officer stereotype she has in her mind go and give Chris a chance? Will Chris finally be true to who he really is?

I really enjoyed this book. It evoked a lot of feeling but also had me laughing at some parts as well. You could definitely witness the growth of the characters by the end of the book and I was glad to be on that journey with them! Definitely a great book to read!

My favorite so far! Badge Bunny is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series by KL Montgomery. You can read this book as a standalone. You don’t need to read the first three to enjoy this book! However, the characters in the other books are featured in this story. In this story we meet up with Dr. Brynne Miller and Corporal Chris Evanston. Brynne is a doctor in the emergency room and Chris is a state trooper that becomes enamored with Brynne while bringing a victim in to the E.R. At this point, Brynne has sworn off ALL cops! Her co-workers have deemed her “Badge Bunny.” But this story is all about understanding that not everyone is as they seem. Turns out that Brynne isn’t as tough as she comes off as and Chris isn’t the womanizer that Brynne thinks he is. Although Chris is harboring a secret he is determined to show Brynne that he really is just a nice guy. Happenstance has them paired up at a wedding and from there is when they learn more about each other and just how much they are great together. Their banter is great and their connection is sizziling. I love the interaction between them and the other characters from the other books. I loved finding out Chris’s secret because it’s definitely not what you think. This book also covers bi-racial marriage and adoptions. This author really knows how to capture the reader and she also knows how to keep them interested. I honestly couldn’t put this down. I would definitely recommend this book!

Badge Bunny by K.L. Montgomery is the fourth book in her Romance in Rehoboth series, and this series just keeps getting better and better. Following the story of Chris Everson and Brynne Miller, these two couldn’t deny the chemistry yet couldn’t seem to be anywhere near each other. Brynne is the ER doctor, known as a bit of a badge bunny, but who isn’t afraid to tell you just how she feels. When she first meets Chris, to say that first opinions aren’t always the best judge definitely applies here. Chris love to get under Brynne’s skin, riling her up and watching her explode. The more that he digs at her, the more that she can’t stop thinking about him. With Chris there is just something about Brynne that he can’t seem to stop thinking about her. Is there anything that Chris can do to get Brynne to notice him as anything more than the guy who aggrevates her? When they finally give into their feelings, the sparks fly off the page, and it gets hotter than either of them could have prepared for. Will this romance burn hot and fast or will they kindle a flame that will last a lifetime? Having read several books from this series in this past, as well as books from Montgomery series, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. It totally lived up to all of my expectations and then some. If you are looking for a great book and an even better series, this is one you definitely want to pick up today!

Book Review: Badge Bunny
Author K.L. Montgomery
FIVE STARS
The Romance in Rehoboth series continues in this, book four. All of these books are stand alones, and there is no particular order in which to read them but you may get some of the events out of order if you don't start at book one. It really doesn't matter though because they are all fabulous books.
K.L. Montgomery is a wonderful author, I discovered her about a year and a half ago when the first book in this series was released. Fat girl is where the Romance in Rehoboth series started with Claire and Jack. You will see them both in this book as well. The second book is The Flip, then Plot Twist. All great.
In Badge Bunny, we meet Chris and Brynne.
Chris is a State Trooper and Brynne is a Doctor. They have been thrown together in the wedding party of mutal friends and are the only ones who can handle the crisis that is about to arise.
Follow Brynne and Chris as they overcome obstacle after obstacle and develop feelings for one another. But can they continue hiding their secrets or will the secrets come out to haunt them? Maybe not exactly haunt but hinder.
This book is full of adventure, laughs, and some suspense. But it all comes together at the end!
LOVE LOVE LOVE K.L. Montgomery's writing and story telling.

A great read about perception. Doctor Brynne Miller has always had an infatuation for men in uniform. When police officer Chris Everson annoys her within two minutes, she swears that she will not date cops again. Instead, she chooses to focus on her friend Sonnets wedding but she cant seem to be rid of him. When they are forced together at a wedding, will they make it work for their friends big day. As events escalate, will Brynne be able to see there is more to a police officer and work together?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Chris with his sarcastic personality but caring side underneath or Byrnne caring for people no matter what but still standing up for herself. Great supporting cast of fun friends like Sonnet and Drew
I loved the visual detail throughout the novel like in the natural imagery of Delmarva with its beach and the sunrise/ sunset full of colour and beauty as something spectacular. I also loved the sense of bright colours with the dresses in the shop as something wonderful and the sense of full of people and life in the wedding scenes later on which was perfectly written. The use of different perspectives for chapters worked well to display both sides of the events and was easy to follow. Overall a great read and I would give it five stars.

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Book 4)
By K.L. Montgomery
5 Stars

K.L. Montgomery continues her fabulous rom-com series Romance in Rehoboth with book 4, Badge Bunny. Considering how wonderful books 1-3 were it’s not surprising book 4 had me in stitches. These funny, wonderful books keep getting better and better but I think Badge Bunny may be my favorite!

Book 4 is about Chris and Bryne. Chris has a pretty sweet life. He loves his job, has lots of friends and lives at the beach. With his job, he has crossed paths with Bryne. Unfortunately, he did not make the best first impression and now Bryne won’t give him the time of day.

Bryne has dated her fair share of cops. Hence the nickname that was given to her by her co-workers ‘Badge Bunny’. But there is one cop she refuses to date. No way, no how will that ever happen!

Never say never…

Ms. Montgomery does an outstanding job of giving the reader great characters that you fall in love with. The flow up the story with its twists and turns kept me engaged. The witty humor and romance were perfect backdrops. Ms. Montgomery touches on something in each one of her books that gives the reader insight into the why of each plot. I think it’s what makes each book a little different but superb. These are definite must-read books.

Badge Bunny
Romance in Rehoboth
Book 4
By K. L. Montgomery
☆☆☆☆☆
This is a full length novel, loaded with bad luck with a twist of romance.

Brynne Miller is a Doctor in the town hospital. She loved dating the town cops, but they all have their bad ways. She has given up on dating them and has decided to stay away from them. Stay far, far away. No more! As she prepares for her best friends wedding and working. This one cop keeps coming in. First with injured people, then with a injury himself. He just keeps showing up. And she keeps running the other way. UNTIL!

Chris Everson has had his share of bad luck, with life, pets and women. But he has a secret and plans to keep it. He has always been the best he can be. Never really wanting to chase women, they all are just to much for him. He has desiderate to focus on his friend and brothers wedding. UNTIL!

K. L. Montgomery has written her 4th book in this series. Every book has caught my interest on page one. I love how her characters draw you into the story. They feel the need to ask the readers for back up on their feelings. So classic! That is what really kept me reading this series. The story's are so well written. I am looking forward to book 5.

Badge Bunny by K.L. Montgomery is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series. These are great because they can be read as standalone and out of order. There are characters that overlap but each book in the series has different primary characters. This book focuses on the story of Chris Everson and Brynne Miller. Chris is a state trooper and Brynne is an ER doctor. Both are strong with a bit of a stubborn streak. When they first met Brynne gets a bad opinion of Chris. Can he change her first impression?
Like the other books in the series, this is a sweet reminder that there is someone for each and every one of us. After being forced together for parts in a wedding party they discover one another. I like that Montgomery keeps the lead female strong and spunky and full of life. It is nice that these women are strong but not obnoxious. The men are sweet and caring but not wimps. The characters are realistic who are funny and caring but also have their faults. No one is perfect. I hope to see more from the series in the future and have enjoyed the get away of reading a nice romance.

Badge Bunny is Book 4 in the Romance In Rehoboth Series by K.L. Montgomery and was such a great read. Chris Everson is a state trooper who happens to run into a Dr named Dr Brynne Miller who he is immediately attracted to. Chris makes a horrible first impression and Brynne doesn’t give him the time of day. Brynne has a nickname in the hospital which is Badge Bunny but she is done with Cops / Troopers. They are all the same.

When Chris and Brynne keep running into eachother it becomes harder and harder for Brynne to keep her distance.
What her and Chris do not know, is they are both in a bridal party together.

Things go wrong at the wedding and Chris and Brynne are the two people who step up to take care of the 50 or so guests at the wedding. What happens when they lean on eachother for support during the time they are all stranded? Will they both feel the same when they are on land safe and sound?
This is definitely a book you do not want to pass up on. Grab your copy today! I haven’t read all of the books in the series and completely loved it so it can be read as a stand-alone.

Badge Bunny by K. L. Montgomery is a five star novel. I love when I get to read a series like this. Being the fourth book in the series, it is typically safe to assume you would miss something without reading the others. Although there are tie-ins and deeper connections to minor characters, this could be read as a standalone. I have thoroughly enjoyed every book I have read by this author. Her writing style is witty, charming, and hilarious. I love the back and forth banter that occurs between the characters and their love hate relationship. Brynne is the cute doctor in the emergency room. She is always chasing after the officers that bring in her patients. But after this last one, she is ready to swear off the badge and not date another officer ever again. Then Chris shows up. She is not impressed and only ups her resolve to find some other kind of man to date. But even though she seems to despise everything about him, she can’t get Chris out of her mind and he somehow just keeps showing up in unlikely situations. Then she realizes that maybe she shouldn’t swear off the badge just yet. Maybe one more cop wouldn’t hurt.

Badge Bunny- K.L. Montgomery

4-stars

Badge Bunny by K.L. Montgomery is another great romance read! It’s the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series, a series that I would absolutely recommend! It’s sweet, romantic, real, honest and laugh out loud funny! Since I’ve read the first three books I can say that this book can be read as a standalone due to all of the detail, however, I would recommend reading this series in order as each book has an unforgettable storyline, plus characters from the previous books make appearances.

I love how without fail this author manages to write incredible stories that pull me right in, all of the detail from the characters, their surroundings to their emotions, all of the detail is there, which makes it a highly enjoyable and entertaining read! I absolutely loved the two main characters Brynne and Chris, though they seem like complete opposites they have so much in common and I loved reading how their relationship developed as they opened up to one another! Their story is one I won’t soon forget!

I would absolutely recommend this book and series to anyone looking for their next romance read!

Badge Bunny is the fourth book in K.L. Montgomery’s Romance in Rehoboth series. As it can be read as a standalone then this is what I did – I was intrigued by the title and the synopsis and thought, hi, let’s see what spin the writer will take us on! And of course, she did not disappoint! I absolutely love stories with strong and independent heroines that are not waiting around to be saved! Add to this a bit of humour and comedy and what else does one need – you have a top notch Rom Com/Enemies to Lovers story!
Badge Bunny is the story of the ER doctor Brynne Miller aka the ‘Badge Bunny’ and Chris Everson who is a state trooper and who managed to piss off Brynne within 2 seconds of meeting her! So how do you get over that first impression that is compounded with follow up meetings where Chris manages to annoy the heck out of Brynne? Well, you put them together in major crisis that simply demands that they need to work together to handle it!
I think I need to pick up the first three books of the series as I absolutely fell in love with that tears and laughter combination and real life size and believable characters!

Badge Bunny was a great 5 star read and book four in the Romance in Rehoboth series.

Brynne is an ER doc who has sworn off men in uniform. Chris is a state patrol officer whose job brings him into the ER quite often.

The first time that Brynne meets Chris, let’s just say that Chris didn’t make a very good impression and pretty much insulted Brynne without realizing it. When Chris asks Brynne out he gets quite an earful on why she doesn’t date cops anymore. I had a lol moment with his response to her.

Brynne is very annoyed by Chris but yet she notices very much how hot he is. She can’t stop thinking about him and when they both end up at the same wedding things take an interesting twist.

Can these two get past their issues and have a HEA?

This was a great read, I had several LOL moments. All of the characters are so loveable and sassy. The secondary characters added a good element to the story. It was great seeing some of the other characters from the earlier books. Once I started I couldn’t put it down until I was done. This author continues to pull me in with her writing and I can’t wait to read the next book. 1-click and get started today on this great series.

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth #4) by K.L. Montgomery
5 of 5 Stars
I love Montgomery’s ‘Romance in Rehoboth’ series, each story has a strong but quirky heroine and a down to earth hero who loves them, your guaranteed a happy ending but only after some drama and fun along the way and each story has the background setting of the beautiful Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Badge Bunny, is no different and although book four can be read as a standalone story. State Trooper Chris Everson meets ER Doctor Brynne Miller who in the course of her job has met and dated so many cops that her friends call her, ‘badge bunny’, however the two do not have a great first impression of each other in this enemies to lovers romance. Brynne is a likeable and relatable strong female character and I love how her relationship with Chris develops after he managed to annoy her on their first meeting but neither can deny their attraction for each other. Badge Bunny is an hilarious enemies-to-lovers romcom complete with a shocking secret hobby, a heavy metal playlist, and uninvited wedding guests, I enjoyed the romance, laugh out loud scenes and of course the sizzling chemistry between Chris and Brynne.

Chris is a hot Delaware cop, and Brynne is a gorgeous redheaded ER DR at Lewes Hospital also in Delaware. Chris brings a patient into the ER, and mistakes Brynne for an RN, then doesn't believe she's actually the shift doc. Brynne is coming off of a recent breakup with a different cop, and takes offense at Chris' attitude. Chris likes Brynnes fire, and sets his sights on her. But, Brynne has sworn off cops...even though she is interested in Chris.
As it happens, unbeknownst to them, they are best man and maid of honor together at their best friends Drew and Sonnett's wedding.
In this pageturner, you'll see more characters from the series previous books wonderfully woven into the story line, find out Chris' secret and why Brynne is called Badge Bunny, go through a beautiful wedding and watch Chris and Brynne work together to save all of the wedding guests from a sudden storm that floods the wedding venue.
I'll say it again...pageturner. I couldn't put it down!

I received this book as an ARC, and I'm leaving an honest review.

Super cute, super sweet super funny! My favorite in this series so far!

Each story in this series is a stand-alone. Each story includes some characters from some of the other stories, which in my opinion, makes each story so much more fun. Badge Bunny is book 4 in the Romance in Rehoboth series. You can read these books in any order as every one of the stories are just really fun to read and always about a new couple.

Our Badge Bunny characters are smart, sexy, tough and funny. Chris, the tough guy cop and Brynne, the smart female doctor are like the perfect characters. Their perceived weaknesses are anything but. Chris and Brynne each have a secret, a little something they have kept hidden from their closest friends. These secrets just make the story that much more intriguing.

I love the way these two come together, first as two strong people, then as a team working the wedding crowd and then later as…oh well no spoilers here! Their friends aren’t half bad either!

Go check out this book and the rest of the series too!

Badge Bunny by K.L Mongomery is the fourth book in her Romance in Rehoboth series, that follow Brynne and Chris. It follows their slow burn relationship from enemies to lovers, and through all the obstacles that come along with life and friendships. I enjoyed the story of their awkward and insulting beginning to their blossoming love for each other. I also enjoyed their friendships with the other characters, and the dynamics between them. I did have issues with the characterisations of Brynne and Chris. They came across as very two dimensional characters that followed character tropes; the only times they came across as fleshed out characters were their interactions between their friends. The other way they came across two dimensional was through their narration and their constant need to validate their own thoughts and emotions to the reader. But I still really enjoyed he story and the slow burn of their relationship. I could only picture Chris as Jake Peralta from Brooklyn 99, as a smug cop that has a heart of gold.
Overall I gave Badge Bunny 4/5 stars

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth book 4)
KL Montgomery
4 out of 5 stars

Everyone has a type, for me it’s a well written psychological thriller or an entertaining romantic comedy, for Brynne it’s a man in uniform. Fortunately for me, Badge Bunny is everything I could have hoped for from a romantic comedy type novel. This was the first book I’ve read in the Romance in Rehoboth series and while it read well as a stand alone, I am looking forward to catching up on the other books in the series!
Badge Bunny grabbed my attention from the beginning and with wit, romance and plot twists that made the characters real and relatable the storyline kept my attention until the very end.
I thought the story flowed very well and once I started I really wanted nothing more than to finish it out until the end, uninterrupted. While Badge Bunny has normal romantic themed elements I really felt like there is something unique in KL Montgomery’s storytelling and I’m looking forward to delving into it more.

Brynne is an ER doctor and has just decided she isn't dating anymore cops. Chris is a state trooper and he has a secret that if anyone that knew him find out about he wouldn't hear the end of it. He has been attracted to Brynne since he first saw her but one misunderstanding caused her to be a little harder to get close to. By chance Brynne stumbles on Chris's secret and now she sees there's more to him than just his job. A wedding party has gotten them together and Chris is determined to get Brynne to see him as more than a state trooper. Can Brynne forget about the men from her past to see that Chris is different?

This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Brynne and Chris sizzled with each turn of the page. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this to any book lover.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
