Not much about the Steps

Steps four through nine were weak. There was nothing about a sponsor, an experienced sober member of AA who has previously been sponsored through the Twelve Steps, to help guide the person taking the Twelve Steps. Lack of sponsorship and lack of sharing the Fifth Step with a trusted person to help find our defects deeper than what we think they may be. In Step Nine, there was not anything that suggested going to the individuals harmed and admitting their wrongs.

The doctor started out by attacking my Christians beliefs. That was certainly a turn-off and totally unnecessary to express or explain the Twelve Steps.
