When hell freezes oved

A good read but really not for me. A bit too Nancy Drewish. The plot was a good one and it would have read much better if it had been expanded upon both the characters and the suspense would have benefited.
This trip had been organised by the university. The snowy wastelands and the icy winds did nothing to curb the hot tempers of some of the students. Their arrival was greeted by the main researcher who mumbled that one of them had been sent to kill him. No-one paid any attention apart from one young woman who felt icy tremors. These escalated when the Doctor was killed entering the kitchen she was in. With no way out, no rescue available for the next 30 days, they are on their own. Can she help to catch the killer, keep her brother safe and her new found friends?

Nice short story. This is my first Christian Fiction read so I was a little unsure what to expect. I enjoyed this book for what it was, a short, quick read. It is family friendly, which is rare to find, and recommended for those who want G rated content.

The audio quality was excellent and I enjoyed listening to this narrator. I would definitely recommend the narrator.

I received this audiobook from the narrator/author/publisher in exchange for an honest review via Audiobook Boom.

I was surprised at how short this story was. The writing was very good and the premise for the story also intriguing - why did the author make this such a short story - it had all the makings of a full length novel or at least a novella (more than 100 pages). I really liked the story, thus the four stars, but it was way too short and the author should believe in her abilities and go for the longer fleshed out story.

It had a strong Christian message and was clean.

It felt like something written for kids. It was a quick read with not enough there to really build a mystery.

Most of the characters are annoying and immature. The writing is just ok. The storyline could’ve been quite interesting if it had been handled differently.

It felt like it was written mostly to show how religious the FMC is and how this religion can help her solve crimes with very little clues or information.

Exceeding short but good

The story had a great plot, ir focused on the strength of Christ for all situations, evermore deadly ones. The only problem was that it was so short although it had a great ending. It made you want to continue reading more of the story.
