Unlike the first two volumes, this book is a single long story. While still about violent crime, this one engages the reader in an examination of right and wrong on many levels.
A man has committed murder and been sent to prison. The thing is, all of his victims were involved in the death of his beloved daughter. A master hypnotist, he finds a way to continue his path of revenge, even from beyond the grave.
So, who is to blame for the bodies which pile up? The grieving father? His hypnotized accomplicies? The men who guided the daughter to her death? The length of this story permits the writer to examine these and other things at greater leisure. I'm still not a huge fan of the artwork, which is what kept this volume from getting a fourth star.
