The witches wanted their property and nobody, not even a pesky vampire and a pack of wolves were going to keep them from it. Get in, get the book, and get out again. It was that simple, or was it? Who knew that there would be an alpha wolf shifter on hand to throw a spanner in the works? And who knew that spanner would lead to wooing, mating, and possibly death and destruction? Can the big bad wolf shifters woo their mates, and after being zapped to within an inch of their lives, will they still want to? Crazy witches meet their match in this comedy romance with a sarcastic vampire on hand to stir the cauldron, and watch out for the elders - they're cranky and meddlesome, and they're not going down without a fight.
I do not know why I keep reading M.L.Briers books. They all follow the same plot structure and everything. That is why my rating trend towards the same. The plot of this book and the thirteen prior books. Three male chauvinistic shifter brothers find their mates in three witches that are boarder line or not so boarder line bitches. It would not be an M.L. Briers without a witch mate kneeing one of the guys in the balls. They all go through them same 'struggle' and end up mated.
By now after reading the prior sarcasm saturated paragraph, you must be thinking why not just stop. You rant about needing to un pigeon hole yourself in the genre in authors like M.L. Briers, Zoe Chant and T.S. Joyce. Completely valid however just enough changes are made.
This specific story. I like the concept of this Book prison deal they have. I liked Don and Donna being mates because the names are cute. I loved Rose the cooky grandma and Cornelius the cantankerous old elder coot being mates. Perfect moment and response.
One of my favorite authors I read so many of their books this is another good one with the witches I love when everyone gets a mate and it was intriguing when they were after the wizard that could have played out some more and I like when the witches are powerful not weak I wished the etch cold have put a spell on the elders for talking too much lol that would have been funny great read
Absolutely loved the elders in this story. These books are always entertaining and have many laugh out loud moments. I don’t believe I have missed any on this authors book and I don’t intend to miss any in the future.
This author 's books are a must read. The characters are great and interact beautiful with each other. Wonderful plot twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommend this book.
Yep like all the other ones needs a little editing. But I love all these books and I'm not the grammer police so Five stars it is. Anything that can make me laugh like this has a special place in my heart!! LOL
I have been reading all of this author novels And they have me laughing. This one was the funniest one. Especially when annabella dropped Adam in the grave.
