There's a new treaty in place and the Remus are hoping that they can finally settle, undisturbed at Thunder Hollow Ranch. Livvie who is now Alpha is working along side her mate, but unaware that there's an enemy lurking in the dark. This foe hears word of the peace treaty and finally makes their presence known to them. Will this destroy the tentative, and fragile new alliance?

Meanwhile everything the wolf pack has so desperately tried to keep hidden from the sleepy town of Eagle Downs Falls is now in jeopardy. Can the secret of their exsistance remain intact, or is this the end of the wolf and human living side by side in harmony?

This is not my normal genre, but I thought to myself hey why not go and give it a read anyway and I have to honestly say that I'm glad I did. The characters were really easy to follow and like which is something I myself always appreciate as for the plot it was beautifully rendered. I was lost in the book from the start until the end. Lilly Rayman is a talented writer and I would recommend her to readers everywhere.

This was totally awesome.
This book dragged me deep into it's pages and did not want to let go.
The authors take on the origination of supernaturals was different but fresh/interesting.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the acceptance when it came about.
You will definitely have to read this series, I don't want to say any more in case it spoils it for you.
It is something I am glad I came across and now I look forward to the next book.

We are back on the Texas rance and seeing how the pack is settling in. I'm always excited to pick up a story by Lilly. I never know what to expect. Livvie and Darius are working together to bring the pack into Thunder Hollow and the town. one thing they didn't plan on was mates being found.

There is a lot of crossovers and interwoven stories in this book. I think Lilly did a great job of it by not making it confusing or hard to follow. I'm going to try to break it out by person, so hopefully, you won't be lost.

Livvie and Darius are falling in sync and creating a routine when her past becomes part of the present. I feel like Livvie got to heal and soothe a part of her that was buried deep inside. My heart hurt for her when she confided in Emily, and when things exploded around her. Lilly captured the emotions so well. You felt them as you read them.

Rance has always been a favorite character. His personality is great and what shakes him shows just what a great guy he is. He always wants to do what is right. I was so excited about how things were unfolding with him.

Nix and Eros definitely come in causing some tension. I like how they were woven into this story, and cannot wait to see what unfolds with them in the final book. Lilly took her unique twist on mythology and beautifully weaves in the Greek gods and goddesses. It certainly has me intrigued as to how it will all play out.

All of your favorite side characters are back in this story. I really felt consumed in their world. There wasn't a stone or tiny piece left undiscovered. There are new bonds being formed and trust being given in so many. I don't want to spoil, but I hope when a stand is needed the town helps.

As I said at the beginning there is a lot going on. This is not a short read, but it is a good read. There were lots of laughable moments but also a lot of heartfelt moments as well. I felt this was a good plot and arc builder as the second in the trilogy.

I am giving it 5 point shoes because I got so lost in this story. I also felt like I was coming home once I dove into Livvie's life again.

Unexpected Revelations takes the entire Unexpected series up about a thousand notches. A s if I wasn’t already hooked with the whole Egyptian Gods are vampires thing Lilly Rayman brings in the Greek Gods now as kind of rival vampires. The Egyptian vampires tend to live in harmony with humans and, now with the peace treaty, wolves. I am a huge fan of this series, there are now two books and two holiday stories, I will never get enough of Thunder Hollow. I was a little thrown off at first but once I knew about the Greeks I went back and the prologue totally made sense. Lilly Rayman brought it all together and pushed the world further than I thought it might go. It does seem like every wolf/vampire is meeting a mate quickly yet I feel like it’s all part of the grand plan. Livvie met Nate to have the land needed when she had to become an Alpha and take in the Remus pack, yet she also needed that connection with Nate’s family so they would be in the right place to accept their destinies. While the author provided me a copy of this story, this review reflects my honest opinion. ***Review has been done in conjunction with Nerd Girl Official. Wow, this book grabs you in the first page and grips you right until the last word. I love Ms Rayman’s writing, her ability to create a world where the gods of myth and legend, vampires and wolf-shifters exist alongside humans is exceptional.
This, the second book in the series continues the story of Livvie and Darius and the wolves of Thunder Hollow. Vengeful Greek Olympians intent on destroying the recent peace accord, pitch their wits against those determined it shall remain intact.
The title is perfect, there are so many unexpected twists and turns, interspersed with budding romances and disgruntled locals, all mixed together to create a bubbling cauldron of emotions, rivalries and undercurrents.
The characters are beautifully portrayed, the story is riveting and the level of steam...about 15 out of 10...! If you love paranormal romances, intriguing plots and fast paced adventure...this is definitely for you! Highly recommended.

I received a copy of this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Livvie and Darius, along with the other wolves and vampires are settling into ranch life nicely with new mateships being forged and settled into and the newly forged peace alliance between the wolves and vampires coming along nicely. But as usual someone always wants to cause trouble - in this case the Greek Olympian Gods. Of course they have nothing better to do than interrupt smooth living on the ranch.
I love how Lilly Rayman melds the ancient vampires and wolves with the younger generations and how the mate bonding between the two races is described. I'm really thrilled with this series and look for more.

This is the second book in Lilly Rayman’s “Unexpected” series. You will really find it easier to orient yourself in a very complex plot if you read An Unexpected Bonding first, but if you are patient with the first 40 or 50 pages, you’ll be riveted by this book. Faeries and vampires and wolves and even hunky humans. The story backdrop started 6000 years ago, but the nexus of the action happens, various plot lines converge, in tiny Eagle Downs, Texas on the Thunder Falls ranch. And it’s complicated. And it’s wonderful.
You will love this beautiful book, with twists and turns and surprises.
