A Sucker Punch
Without giving away anything, there is a twist at the end I did not see coming - two in fact - both of which left me gasping! I must also state that the author seems to have it in for poor Jake Cutter! Nonetheless, Kyle Hannah crafts a compelling story of perseverance, vengeance, and the search for the truth, all wrapped up in a world of colourful and varied aliens, all trying to survive. Thoroughly enjoyable!

At first the plot seemed over simplified and the motivations a little contrived, but upon realizing the title character feels the same way I started to get into the story. With a fast paced action packed ending and a shocking conclusion I can say it is wonderful concept piece. Closer to the space Cowboy side of the genre.
