Has taken a beating and keeps on ticking. You can feel what the animal feels like (fur, fleece, etc.) and hear them by pressing on the fur hair. It tells you a bit about them and on the opposite page you can see other pictures of them. An example is a pig. You feel if or “tickle” the pig’s ear and press on it to hear it oink, oink! It spells out the noise and then has pictures of pigs in various forms, some babies all on the facing page. Wish they had these when I was little.
I love it. My niece is so cute when she heard the noises. She loves the cow! And I think I’ve gotten her to be a fan of the sheep.
Then at the end is a culmination of all of the animal friends you have met. You push there and there is a sound off from each. Adorable !

Another touch and feel with noise buttons that Amelia likes. Again, she can't wait to drive her grandparents crazy by pushing the noise buttons.

Oh my gosh if I didn't give this a Violet 5-stars and immediately order a copy for her on Amazon after returning the library's copy I'd be in big trouble. Her therapists can't get over how this book taught her how to meow, learn that cars go beep beep, and learn how to say "apple" as well as pretend she's crunching on one. But her most favorite is the last page, the fuzzy bedtime teddy bear that plays the music (she nods her head to the song, and signs "music", which if you don't know is the most adorable sign ever, it looks like you're playing violin when you sign it)
