I went to a talk by Tsung-Mei Cheng and heard abt a wonderful man called Uwe and how brilliant he was. Her husband. I see it now.
This book dives into a huge question- who actually takes care of people who can’t afford healthcare in the US? It doesn’t shy away from the hard stuff. It’s a collection of essays, so you get a bunch of different voices and angles, from economic breakdowns to more personal takes.
I really liked how the book doesn’t pretend there’s one clear solution. Even written so many years ago, do relevant today.
