A supernatural war looms, and she is the key to unlocking it—and stopping it. Roo is desperately trying to pick up the pieces her evil father left behind, while still keeping the existence of gods a secret from humans. But the Game of Gods is ending and the pressure to live up to her true identity is overwhelming. Not to mention she keeps missing her best friend’s wedding, her unpredictable fiancé is becoming violent, and her father’s war is catching humans in the crossfire. The enemy is closer to home than Roo realizes and facing her past is the least of her worries. If she wants to defeat evil, she must embrace her true nature before it’s too late, because it’s not just the end of the game … but the world.
A lost temple in the Amazon, a medieval castle in Budapest, and a summer beach in southern Australia. This final installment in the Urban Fantasy series, The Game of Gods, will take you around the world on a whirlwind adventure full of kickass heroines, fiery romance, and supernatural thrills. With a perfect dose of sci-fi, fantasy and mythology, this is not for young readers.
Lana lives in Perth, Western Australia and loves writing Paranormal/ Fantasy and Sci-fi Romance. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her creating art and designing book covers. She also fights evil by moonlight, wins love by daylight and never runs from a real fight.
In my opinion, Game Over is a perfect conclusion to an amazing series. I've loved each and every book in this series. It's a must read for readers who enjoy a good fantasy with mythology twist. So, it's time for gods to leave Earth. There is nothing more they can do here and they are all anxious to go home. However, evil is still lose and they can't risk it following them home. This will be their last mission... to right every wrong they've done here. Roo is not the same person she was before. Although, she not human but she is also not the goddess everyone seems to remember. And she must make them realize this before they make any more mistakes. She loves this planet, she is also loyal to the Empire. She wants what is best for everyone and she is determined to find a way that will benefit both gods as well as humans. Cash will protect Roo even if she disagrees with him. He loves her and remembers the eternity he had spent without her. She will never understand that level of anguish for someone you love. She may think that he is not treating her right, but she will understand him soon enough... or so he thinks... I loved it! It has all the characters I love and the story is pretty amazing too. The twist at the end was unexpected and perfect. I love how it concluded. I'd definitely recommend it to all fantasy readers, this one is a must read series. P.S. I received a complimentary copy of this book.
A book a roo and the people who he works with who are part of a game that has ended. They checking people to see if they are infected. Jed and roo have a relationship.
A actioned packed book with romance and vampires and gods. I highly recommend this book to read i couldnt put it down.
"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."
I loved this but hate it’s over! Would love to have an extended epilogue in Cash’s POV! I enjoyed this trilogy a lot. The twists and turns were great and at one point, really had me. I normally can figure out the “bad guy”, but Lana got me here. I was so focused on the rest of the events and that is exactly how it should be. Who wants predicable? Overall, this series is great and if you love Lana, you’ll do yourself a disservice if you don’t read these. Originality, great characters, a little spice, emotion, and of course, soul!
Great series. Lana Pecherczyk has a back for drawing you on with interesting characters and original stories. I really like the development of the characters and how the story evolves. Very well written.
This is a great ending story for this collection. Roo and friends are finally ready to end the game and it was very interesting and enjoyable to read how this was done
Wow another great in a superb series. Roo is trying to pick up the pieces of her life. She is a wonderful character that makes me want to help her out. Quick reading, with no stopping until the end.
This is once again a brilliant book, and continues to showcase Lana Pecherczyk exceptional and original creativity. The beginning seamlessly continued from the end of book.3. Playing God. To be honest I had to read the whole series in one go, without stopping to review individual books, as I was so engrossed, I just had to know what happened next. Roo & Cash are the never ending love interest running throughout the whole series, with both being the main characters. However the other characters like Marc who offers you quick and witty remarks enhances the storyline, with the others giving more depth to each moment. In Game Over Roo needs to take control and come into her own or the whole of the empire and earth will suffer. Pressure much !! She needs to stay alive first. Sexy cash who has loved her for eons wants to protect her, but the intensity of his devotion may end them completely. I have become fond of these characters, Roo’s snappy whit lightened some very dark moments, her profound dedication to her friends & loved ones knows no bounds. She needs to end this game, but will she loose herself trying? Can she rid the world of the darkness that is taking innocent lives? Or will she loose not only her soulmate but herself to. This book is none stop action, Heartbreaking, devious, betraying and evil moments keeps you immersed in its pages. I actually slowed down my reading near the end, as I didn’t want the series to end. Lana Pecherczyk is able to make you feel every tense and tender moment, in a world that you don’t question is real. I am excited by this author, if all her books, hold such originality and emotional realism, then Her books are worth every penny. I don’t like leaving spoilers, so you will have to read to see who or what may be defeated or will Roo loose everything she has ever held dear. My opinion? Don’t miss it !!!!
