T.M. (Tracey Marie) Frazier never dreamed that a single person would ever read a word she wrote when she published her first book. Now, she is a eight-time USA Today bestselling author and her books have been translated into numerous languages and published all around the world.

T.M. enjoys writing what she calls ‘wrong side of the tracks romance’ with morally corrupt anti-heroes and ballsy heroines.

Her books have been described as raw, dark and gritty. Basically, what that means, is while some authors are great at describing a flower as it blooms, T.M. is better at describing it in the final stages of decay.

She loves meeting her readers, but if you see her at an event please don’t pinch her because she's not ready to wake up from this amazing dream.

Book One
This was miss when it comes to T.M. Frazier's books.
The Outskirts didn't do it for me. Its story hasn't managed to capture me and most importantly, the heroine fell off. At one second, she was just an innocent flower who didn't know how crushing the world can be and at the other one, she made references only a girl "exposed" to the world her whole life could make.
So while the premise of the story might have intrigued me, its execution failed to impress.

Book Two
I am more than sure this book wasn't planned to be written. From the beginning, it felt just like a really, really way too long epilogue.
Whereas in book one, inconsistency and predictability took over the story, here, in The Outliers, redundancy ruled it with an iron fist.

Very close to 5 stars

There was so much to like about this duet! I didn't quite know what to expect, but one clicked because I love everything this author's written. There are so many quirky, colorful characters surrounding the main characters, who are awesome themselves. There's some great "bad guys" as well to keep things interesting. There's love, comedy, suspense, heart, strength, faith, heat...... I also really respected the views of faith and religion that were reinforced. I love Sawyer's speech from the tent!!!! (No spoilers from me 😉)

What a sweet story!

It had it all! Intrigue, heartbreak, comedy, redemption and love! All the main characters were super likeable and relatable. Sawyer's innocent, Finn's isolation...the two come together and it's a wonderful mix of happiness. If you like to read about people discovering themselves and finding happiness, this is for you!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has secrets, abuse, suicide, and heartbreak. This is a duet so you need to be prepared to read the both part to get answers to all your questions.

This is the beginning of Sawyer and Finn’s story. Finn wants to be left alone. After the tragedy, he went through he wants only alone time. He wants to live in his swamp and be alone forever. Sawyer wants to know who this person is on her land. Both of these two have issues of their own but throw in the past they both have and you get two struggling souls. Will these two be able to deal with the past in order to move to the future? If so is it a future together? Only T.M. Frazier knows the answers to those questions as we dangle on the edge of the cliffy just waiting for word about the second part of this story.

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
The Outskirts (The Outskirts Duet, #1)

This is more of Sawyer and Finn’s story. Finn and Sawyer have a deep, heartbreaking, passionate, and crazy loving. But it works for them. But when the past comes for them will they be prepared? Will they want to fight for each other or will it be better to let each other go? This story will pull out all your emotions and have you hanging on the edge of your seat.

As with all this author’s stories make sure you have enough time to read in one sitting as you are not going to want to put it down. This author will drag you in and keep you hypnotized with her stories. She makes you almost want to crawl into the story and become a part of it. So, make sure you have time to dig in deep and get lost in the beauty of this duet.

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.
