This book had me wanting to read it due to not only the name which I loved as I have a thing for reading books that contain social networking sites and online dating but also the cover is adorable with the coffee cup and makes it a warm and welcoming story. Janice has been burned a few times and feels that everything she touches turns to ruin as she blames herself for all the tragedy in her life. Her best friend Wanda helps her set up a profile on a dating site called Catch.Net as she wants Janice to be happy. During her dating adventures, we read as Janice goes on some dates with some duds, some stalkers - Wayne, some nice - Matt, some snobs and then Mr. Perfect for Janice - Ron. I liked this part, and Janice's love story of trials and triumphs with Ron and what made me feel more connected to the story was that the author's husband as we learn in her bio is called Ron which added more romantic notion to the story. I loved too that he was hardworking yet had a sensitive side which made him the perfect gentleman. However, Catch.Net isn't just your usual romance and online dating novel as it also touches some edgy and dark topics especially those surrounding suicide and death. I read this book in one sitting, and if you are looking for a quick read, then Catch.Net is the perfect mixture of happiness and sadness for readers.

Admittedly, straight up romance isn't typically my preferred genre. For that reason, the plot moved a little slow for me. However, I thought the characters in this book were very relatable and to a point flawed. At one point, I might have cried (might have). And the ending was satisfying and very sweet.

I was intrigued from the very beginning about Janice's past. I was also curious to know more about how her online dating experience would play out.
Wayne rubbed me the wrong way from the start of their evening together, but I admired Janice's willingness to try again after such a disastrous first go round. I could really tell that she had hopes deep down that things could work out.
The chapters rolled on, some coming with heartbreaking news and some with shocking events. I was so glad a time or two when things didn't turn out worse than I was expecting.
There were many compelling things going on at once in this story. It made it fun to read as I was always wondering about what would happen with the various storylines next.
Catch.net was deeper than even the title implied and really had a wide variety of emotions flowing from page to page. There were some very sad moments along the way, but the story also instilled great hope that a happy ending could be found.
This was a terrific little story with beauty to be found in Janice's determination.

Rita Delude is a wonderful writer her stories are heart felt and truly enjoyable. This one is about a college professor who is looking for love. Janice has had a hard time with dating. Her best friend Wanda has her sign up on a dating website catch.com. Wanda helps Janice make her profile and screen the catches. Janice doesn't have a good experience right off the bat that ends up with her getting attached. So you can imagine going fishing again is hard for her. Janice has secrets from her childhood that has her scratching when she gets nerves. Janice takes the men that she likes to meet Wanda and her husband Joe along with their whole family. There are several men but Ron was different but she needs to get her life under control before she can commit. Janice goes to a therapist for her OCD problem but he ends up being the problem. You should read Catch.com and see what happens to Janice and the dating site. You won't be sorry I started it and couldn't stop.

5+ stars all the way!

Catch.net is ....Romance. Suspense. Heartbreak. Second Chances. Humor. Friendship. Love. A whole lot of "that is so sweet". Exactly what you want in a well-written book.

This story's words wrapped themselves gently around me with the very first sentence and did not release until the very last one. So happy, the inside matches the cover art, simply beautiful!

I have read a few short stories in anthologies and Kaleidoscope by Delude and REALLY enjoyed them. However, this has been my favorite so far.

The plot really flows and you can't help but to quickly become invested in the characters! These could be your friends easily!

I found myself not being able to out this book down and needed to know how it will all work out for them. I would love a part 2 to this story and see where they all are in a few years! Definitely worth the read!

I was lucky enough to be a test reader for the book Catch.net. I enjoyed this book how it showed the trials of looking for Mr. Right through a dating survice. This hit home for me because this is the way two of my sisters met and married their husbands. I not only enjoyed the main characters Janice and Ron but I liked Janice's best friend Wanda so much that I'm hoping to see a sequel based on her.

Seeing as I found my hubby online I was totally captivated by this title & couldn't wait to dive in.
I was completely stunned at how this book had all these references to fishing via catch.net. Thus making the book not only a romance but also comical. It held my attention from the word go & completely throughout the entire book.
This author is quickly becoming a fave of mine.

Hook, line and sinker.

What a book. Simply loved it. Janice is looking for a gentleman, but what does she find? You have to read to find out what kind of men are in catch.net. A real look into what dating life and dating sites can be.
