Reading this book was a bit like attending a great half day PD workshop on PBL. It included all you needed to know to get started or revise and improve what you’re already doing without dragging it out to the point that you become overwhelmed and lose interest. There is a lot of practical ideas that are easy and quick to implement but the philosophy of PBL is there as well, convincing you that it is definitely worth giving it a try. I feel this is a book I will come back to during my planning, and again after each unit to aid in reflection. Overall, a great entry to, or refresher on, PBL.

Geared more toward a traditional teacher who is thinking about "doing PBL", so a good entry point with solid advice.
