I never thought I’d see him again
The would-be lover who left me waiting…
Now, he’s back,
And this time, he’s gonna take my V-Card

Rhona

The stars aligned that night,
When destiny decided that he would be my first
At least that’s what I thought..

Six years on, here I am, V-card intact, and no sign of losing it,
So when I pick up a dating app with soulmate-finding claims
Of course my match is him, Blake. The one who broke my heart.
If he messes up this time,
There’ll be no more second chances.

Blake

Regrets, I’ve had a few.
None greater than leaving Rhona behind.
Six years on, I’ve got a chance to make it right.
I’m gonna make her body sing.

Some things are gone in an instant.
But Rhona and I were made to be forever..

Blind Date💕 Turns Into Blind Undying 💘Love

We are Stardust🌠.
Rhona💃💔 and Blake🐺🍆🌋 meet at a Planetarium, when neither' s blind date shows up. They get along so well, that Blake🐺🍆🌋 asks her on a second date, and naive, virgin Rhona💃💔💋, thinks he might be the one.
Only Blake🐺🍆🌋 never shows for the second date, and doesn't answer her texts, either. Rhona blocks him, and sad and disheartened💔, she goes on with her life.

Six years later....
Rhona💃💋 is an executive at her company now, but she is still a loser at love💔 and still a virgin. She seems to put the kibosh on every blind date because of her nervousness and her desperation. She never gives a man a chance to get to know her. She just wants true 💘love and a family, what's so hard about that?
Finally her friend gets her to sign up with a matchmaking💕 app that has a long, complicated questionnaire and costs more than other apps. It's for people serious about finding true love💘.
Even before her first date from the app, her boss throws a huge promotion at her, and a huge salary, but She has to move out of the country to Iceland! She is torn. She has friends, She has a comfortable life. Moving would upend everything.
Finally, blind date 🌙night arrives, and guess what?! Her date is Blake🐺🍆🌋! Can she forgive him? Do they still have chemistry? What about her promotion and move to Iceland? Can they really have a second chance?

ARC Received for a Voluntary and Honest Review.
I also got the book📑 with KU.

This is a fun book📑 but not very realistic, in terms of the scenario actually happening. But most romance novels aren't based on reality anyway. So enjoy the craziness of Rhona's life. Recommend!

Take My V-Card - A Billionaire Second Chance Romance (San Bravado Billionaires' Club Book 5) by Layla Valentine Take My V-Card - A Billionaire Second Chance Romance (San Bravado Billionaires' Club Book 5) By:Layla Valentine
How Far Will He Go For A Second Chance To Win Her Heart?!
He Ghosted her...
There's no coming back from that! Or is there?!
Can you move forward if everytime you date it's horrible?! Uck!
DATE... is absolutely the worst 4-letter-word ever written, with it's counterpart, DATING, being the Most HORRENDOUS form of Torture invented to inflict Misery upon unassuming Singles by Wellmeaning Idiots around you hoping to instill Happiness to others, but instead, it just adds to the Misery already present in said DATER & thus perpetuates a cycle... Hence, Her Relationship Status!
Can a Dating App, even with a 95% success rate, really be her solution?! Should she try one last time?!
He's been waiting for a Second Chance, & NOW he's gonna take it... look out, because he's coming in with all the stops pulled out!
I was gifted an ARC of Layla Valentine's "Take My V-Card - A Billionaire Second Chance Romance (San Bravado Billionaires' Club Book 5)" via Booksprout; I thoroughly enjoyed this book; therefore, I'm gladly recommending it based upon its own merits... I'm definitely going to be be looking for MORE of this author's work in the future. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!

I really enjoyed this latest addition to the San Bravado Billionaire's Club. Rhona and Blake are two people who meet on evening after both are suppose to be on dates with other people who fail to show up. They get to talking and find that they have a lot in common and that each is easy to talk to. They spend the rest of the evening at the observatory where they met. By the end of the evening they have exchanged numbers and have agreed to go on a date the next week. When Friday comes along, Rhona is left waiting for Blake who has not shown or called to say why. Without an explanation Rhona moves on with her life. Six years later she is still single and looking for love. The two meet up again and Blake explains why he never showed up or contacted her. The two find they are still attracted to one another and still have a lot in common. They have met this time via a dating app that boosts a 95 percent success rate Rhona feels she has met the man of her dreams but finds out she may have been played and tells Blake it's over. Blake wants to explain and set the record straight. I don't want to give any of this story away. I will say it is a clever written story and I loved finding out the reason why they were so well matched. Very well written. Wonderful HEA!

Rhona and Blake meet when they are both stood up for dates. So they stay together for the night and explore the conservatory together. They have a great night and when Blake makes a move for them to spend the night together Rhona shares her secret she's a virgin. Blake is stunned but still wants to see her again so they make plans to have another date. Rhona shows up and after waiting for some time she realizes that she's been stood up again. Being a virgin has made her feel insecure especially when after telling two guys they stand her up for dates. So several years later with the encouragement of a friends she signs up for a dating app not thinking anything will come of it. When she finds that they have found a match for her to say she's shocked is putting it mildly. The date is set a favorite restaurant of hers but when she arrives at the table she is shocked again when its Blake that she's been matched to. Will Blake be able to get Rhona to give him a second chance?

This was a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Rhona and Blake is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this to any book lover.

Rhona and Blake turned out to be a very cute and sweet couple, but the journey getting to their happily ever after was somewhat maddening. Both Blake and Rhona had big insecurities about themselves and depended much to strongly on the words, thoughts and advice delievered by their “friends”. I know that everyone deals with personal insecurities, even the people whom exude confidence have them. It is part of being human, but these characters, especially Rhona allowed them to guide their lives to such a strong degree that this couple lost over 6 years of time and happiness together. That was the maddening part. I did appreciate how Rhona finally found the guts to overcome her insecurities to at least get some answers. It is a good thing she did since it led to their HEA. I was as relieved as Nina and Sara must have been for the two of them to finally give in to their feelings and let go of the insecurities keeping them apart. I really did enjoy the story overall and easily recommend this one as a worthy read.

Rhona is a twenty-two year old virgin. It seems that every date she's ever been on the guy gets spooked when she tells them she's a virgin. While waiting for a blind date to show up she meets Blake and he too was stood up by his date. They ended up having a date with each other and when things started to get steamy she tells Blake she's a virgin and he seems okay with that and they make plans for a second date. When the day of the date comes Rhona waits for Blake to show up for their date. Needless to say he never shows and he doesn't return her calls or texts. So she racks it up as another man being intimidated by her because she's a virgin. She blocks Blake's number and goes on with life. Six years later her friend talks her into going on a dating site and when she shows up for her date she finds Blake. To find out what happens between these two, grab this book today. It is an awesome story and kept me interested to the very end.

i Read this book as part of an arc program. I enjoyed this second chance romance between Blake and Rhona. Blake and Rhona met one night at the observatory when they were both stood up on blind dates. They decided to spend the time with each other and explore the features of the observatory. When they had a great connection and great chemistry, Blake asked if Rhona would go back to his apartment, but when Rhona confessed she was still a virgin, Blake asked her for another date. He said he wanted it to be special for her. They agreed to meet again, but when the time came, Blake stood Rhona up. Six years later, Rhona is successful in her career and still single. When her friend suggest using a dating app to find love, she reluctantly agrees. Rhona gets ready to meet her date at a restaurant, only to find her date is Blake. Blake wants another chance with Rhona and apologizes to her and asks for another chance. i liked this story and thought it was sweet. Blake really regretted his actions and wanted to be with Rhona. I thought they really were good together. Good one.

Take My V-Card, not the best title, in my opinion, but a cute second chance(ish) romance.
Rhona and Blake.
These two were perfect together. Lots in common, meddling best friends, insecurities, both looking for that special someone.
Rhona at times drove me nuts. Always needing someone to give her advice, tell her what to do. I’m not sure how she survived into adulthood without being able to make even the simplest decisions for herself. Moving away, starting over in a new country without her support system was the best thing she ever did for herself. Forced her to grow a backbone.
I liked Blake. I would have loved more of his point of view. But what we got showed me he was a bit awkward, shy, and loyal to his freeloading best friend. He regretted fiercely being talked into not showing up for that second date with Rhona. And from that point forward, everything he did, he did for her.
I liked their story. It was an easy, quick read. Lots of humor, some ups and downs. Mostly told from Rhonas point of view. And ends very happily.

This is the first book that I've read by Layla Valentine but it won't be the last!  What a terrific writing style that is relaxed and so easy to read that the story just flows before your very eyes.  very believable and with great alpha hero,  Blake, and heroine, Rhona.  Six years ago she thought he was going to be her 'first' but he left without a word and she has found no one worthy of that position. |So she tries a dating app and guess who ends up being her match?? That's right none other than Blake but he must make it right this time!  But how is he going to prove he can be trusted and is worthy of her??  Is he just going to leave her again and devastate her or is he really wanting a proper relationship with her?  I enjoyed this so much that I've got to go buy another of Layla's books to enjoy - just have to choose which one!!   I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.  Definitely recommended - a terrific new author to me!

This poor couple has had it rough. She’s so insecure that she second guesses everything in life and cannot see what everyone else sees in her. She always gets her friends Sara and Nina to basically tell her what to do, but she never relaxes and just take things as they come. After meeting Blake the first time, she’s hesitant to get excited about a second date after getting matched to him on the website, but when he shows up and they recreate their first date, she’s falling for him all over again. But disaster strikes and she makes a rash decision and moves to Iceland. He’s doing all he can to contact her and she her he’s sorry about the mistake that was made, but she won’t acknowledge him. Their HEA is one of romance movies and I was brought to tears myself. I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Some people can be their own worst enemy, and Blake doesn't do himself any favors. He and Rhona have great chemistry from the start, meeting after their both stood up by their dates. They have a lot in common, an everything goes super well. Until scheduled date #2... where Blake is a no-show. 6 years later, Rhona tries Matchmakr (a dating app) which pairs her with Blake again. He manages to convince her to stay on the date, explaining what happened before. Rhona is likeable, and Blake manages to grow on me. They're actually a really great couple one they get on the same page. Very entertaining and enjoyable, this is a romance that wins the heart. The author creates characters that feel real and flawed, which is a bonus. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.

THREE STRIKES YOU'RE OUT!!!
Talk about being clueless. You have a front row seat as you follow these characters along in this page turning bombshell that will leave you wanting more. The characters and scenes were intriguing, complex and realistic. With scenes so vividly detailed and descriptive it gives the illusion that you are right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Twists, turns, ups and downs on whirlwind of mass confusion in this suspense filled storyline that keeps you on a razors edge. Valentine pulls us into her imagination and weaves a world around us until everything else ceases to exist except what's right in front of our eyes. Phenomenal job Valentine, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.

This one kept me turning the pages with the quality writing, great characters and well executed plot that had me wondering and hoping from the beginning to the end.

It's a really well told story and the quality was retained throughout. At no point was it rushed and a lot of what was in it seemed very realistic in terms of emotions and reactions. Both main characters were likeable and the secondary characters were fun to have around as well.

I read this book in one day just so I could (hopefully) get to the happy ever after and in no way did it disappoint. I highly recommend the book to romance lovers and although this was my first book by the author, I intend to read more. Thanks to Booksprout for my copy, my review is given by choice.

What an interesting story from Layla Valentine! I admit I was a little surprised that Rhona was a virgin for so long and had a hard time she had never given it to anyone despite wanting to. But the more I read, the more I understand. This is a great book to read and is full of self doubt, empowerment, fear, insane chmistry and a little bit of technological magic. Loved this! Personally I think this was the best storyline and plot in this series to date. Without giving spoilers, the book does show the lengths Blake went to for a second chance encounter, then really a third chance by flying across the world with basically no notice.....so swoon-worthy! Blake really did have it bad for Rhonda and not just because he took her v-card but because of their connection. If you are looking for a swoon-worthy, romantic tale Take My V-card is definitely your book! And don't get me wrong there is plenty of twists and turns headed your way in addition to the heat and heart once you one-click! Definitely Recommend!

Take My V-Card is a steamy second chance romance that is filled with hope, loss, longing and love.
Rhona and Blake meet after both being stood up by their dates. Thinking that Blake could be the one as they both have same interests and the attraction between is undeniable Rhona is shattered when Blake stands her up for their second date.
Six years later Rhona cant believe that they have been paired by a matchmaker site. But this time Blake's betrayal is the final straw and Rhona decides that there will be no second second chances.

Rhona and Blake meet one night when they are both stood up by their dates. They hit off right away and enjoy each other's company until he stands her up for their next date. Rhona is still a virgin and this intimidates many men so she doesn't have the best of luck on her dates. Six years later she is set up on a date via her dating app and guess who just happens to be her date??? Yes, Blake is back. Will she stay and go through the date? Will he have a good excuse as to why he ghosted her last time? Have they both grown up to the point where they both want a happily ever after? You'll have to read the book to find out.

This was a beautifully written story and I loved reading it. It starts off great, there is a lot of heartache for Rhona, a lot of mess-ups by Blake and an amazing story of their lives.

Great start - with two people who were stood up and ended up having the best date of their lives with each other. Lots of drama follows, all because Rhona is still a virgin and guys always ghost her when they find out. Will Blake get his chance again and would he succeed?

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and it was a great read.

Blake became a billionaire by creating a dating app. Rhona struggles with making decisions on her own and wants the fairy tale love. 6 years ago, he made a mistake that cost him her. Will Rhona forgive Blake for his mistakes? Will Blake be able to prove to Rhona that she is who he wants?

Definitely liked how these two connected further than the bedroom. I liked how Blake owned up to what mistakes he made and he was willing to do what it took to prove to her how he felt. I did think that Rhona was wish-washy, BUT that was part of her character. Good read!

They are a sweet couple

Blake is your typical great looking self made Billionaire. He first meets Rhona in a bar when they are both stood up on a blind date. They magically hit it off but he “ghosts” her on the second date. They are brought back together six years later and it’s as if no time has passed after he apologizes for his idiocy. The romance is fast, not much of a build up there but the sex is hot. I really enjoyed the fun and ease of their relationship. They are a sweet couple and this was an enjoyable read.

Very good contemporary billionaire romance. Rhona works at an IT company and hasn't met a man who is really in to her. She goes on a blind date who doesn't show up. She meets Blake who's on a blind date who ghosted him so they to go out together. They hit it off but Blake ghosts her. She's heartbroken but that's just the beginning of their story. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Valentine.

Take My V-card is the story of Blake and Rhonda. As the title so vividly says, it’s a story of a 22 year old virgin hoping to meet someone worthy enough to take her virginity. Enter..and exits Blake. Years later, they “reconnect”. There’s a lot of details I’m leaving our only because I encourage you to read this book. It’s fun, funny, frustrating and sweet. The characters are developed and their story is good. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

Rhona may have the career she wants her love life, not so much. She is still a virgin when she meets Blake but after one date he stand her up and disappears. Now six years later Rhona and Blake are set up through a dating app. Will she give him a second chance? I liked this read. The story is fast-paced with plenty of drama and Rhona a bit annoying. The story is fun and entertaining. A good read.

The story started out good but fizzled. The plot was good but didn't have that spark to carry it over. Rhona and Blake both have insecurities that leave them floundering for much too long. Plus they have friends that question their decision. Blake and Rhona have good chemistry but let outside and internal struggles get between them.
