ANYONE who works or has ever worked at a university in Canada should read this book, twice. Sean may think it's stale-dated but he has captured archetypes of Canadian academe that will outlast us all -- especially considering how slowly things change.

Only got 1/3 of the way into this book....since it makes very little sense and I have so many books I want to read, I closed the book and will either sell it at the flea market or donate it to a thrift store. Can't believe it was shortlisted for the 1999 Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour.....

I think the only reason I liked this one so much is because it was set at Trent... where I went to school. Definitely an interesting read.

Ya, I must admit I never finished reading this book, I actually ended cutting out the center and used it for hiding a wad of cash. For that, it did nicely.
