Worse than Waco: Jehovah's Witnesses hide a tragedy

Rate this book
More than 80 followers of David Koresh perished over a 51-day period at the Branch Davidian compound outside Waco, Texas, and the whole world watched. Jehovah's Witnesses have been dying one at a time, refusing vaccinations from 1931 to 1952, refusing organ transplants from 1967 to 1980, and refusing blood transfusions from 1944 to now, without attracting much attention. Yet, with 4.5 million full members and 11.5 million attending meetings, the number of Jehovah's Witnesses dying in obedience to their leaders adds up to a tragedy worse than Waco.
