Vincent Leonard Price Jr. (May 27, 1911 - October 25, 1993) was an American actor best known for his performances in horror films, although his career spanned other genres, including film noir, drama, mystery, thriller, and comedy.
He appeared on stage, television, and radio, and in more than 100 films. He has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, one for motion pictures, and one for television.
He was an art collector, and arts consultant, with a degree in art history, and he lectured and wrote books on the subject. The Vincent Price Art Museum at East Los Angeles College is named in his honor. He was also a noted gourmet cook.

An autobiography intended for young readers, this is a real quick read, but still a good time since Price’s trademark sense of humor really comes through (man, he can be a catty bitch sometimes). Also, he goes on a rant at the end about how annoying it is that American audiences and critics don’t give horror movies enough respect...as true today as it was back then, so preach on, Vincent.
A short but cute introduction to Vincent Price told by the master himself. This only affirms my belief that Vincent Price is one of the greatest actors of all time, as well as a true gentleman and Renaissance man.
Charming, enjoyable first-person account. Last paragraph is thought-provoking: "The main thing in life is survival. And survival is not just staying alive. It is also a constant effort to grow and to learn and to work."
