Come Follow Me by Matt Koceich is a joyful book that will kick start your day toward happiness. At the back of the book you'll find a scripture index giving the Bible verses by date.

At the end of his book you'll find Koceich writing this for his December 31 message to the reader. Here is a portion of the daily message:

"....When you think of tomorrow, think of heaven. A place of endless treasure and blessing, it is complete freedom from the effects of sin. No more death. No more decay. I also want the thought of heaven to plant hope in your heat, because your forever home is not on earth, but with Me. My house has many rooms, and Jesus is preparing a place for you. And, better still, He will come back and bring you here to be with Us..."

All I can write is WOW. What a wonderful message to end the year with as the message gives hope for the year to come.

Recommend.

Following Him!

I discovered this beautiful devotional completely by accident. I subscribe to a monthly newsletter from the publisher, Barbour Books. When the November newsletter arrived in my email, I almost didn't open it. But when I did, I saw a brief paragraph about this book. I immediately fell in love with the title. It definitely caught my attention. I downloaded a sample to my Kindle and I'm just delighted I did. This book is absolutely a beautiful treasure. It's full to the brim with words of: love, comfort, encouragement, grace and peace. Each letter speaks directly to the heart of the reader. My birthday is September 2nd and the letter for that day is an anointed Word for my life. I've only had this book for three days and every word speaks to my heart and spirit. The Scripture references at the end of each letter, bring the truth of God's Word into the daily hustle and grind of life. If you feel far away from God, struggling to hear His voice and you can't trace His hand or heart in your life, GET THIS BOOK! You will be drawn into the everlasting love of God who knows you by name and calls you, PRECIOUS ❤

The author is intelligent and has a heart for GOD - you know they have an ear to HIM as well - when you have the first devotional for me - September 9th - first line being "Precious child, I love you, You are MY wonderful creation, I have called you and sent JESUS to save you." I mean how much better than that can you get - but it does. Imagine your day starting out like that - I only wish that the devotion for the day was longer. That is the one thing I see with a lot of good devotionals - they are so very short. It is tender, your SPIRIT is lifted and touched and you feel in tune with the HOLY SPIRIT that in and of itself is worth getting this book I received this book to read to give you an honest review.

I am voluntarily reviewing A Copy Of Come, Follow Me through the publisher and Netgalley.

We are reminded in this devotional, that Jesus paid the prices for our sins. We are reminded too that becoming a Christians does not mean we are going to be free of obstacles,

This devotional reminds us that we need to continue on the path with the Lord even when times are rough. We are reminded too the importance of us spending our days with the Lord, Jesus.

I give Come, Follow Me, five out of five stars.

Happy Reading.

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley, this review express is my personal opinion.

All do I was not able to finish all the book, due to limitations with the timeline with the reader. But, I read the most I could. This book is unique, is uncommon in a good way. Each devotion it feels like is a lovely letter from God to you, so encouraging and so beautiful written. In my case was eye-opening, I think that without knowing we may know about God, but not walking with Him. This devotional is not only to make you feel good but to take you on a road of deepness in our relationship with God.

I recommend this book because it is:

Well written
It has a good bible verse
I think this devotional united with the reading of the bible and prayer will, without doubt, make a change in the person life.

Thanks for the opportunity on reading an ARC of this book.

This daily devotional starts each entry with "Precious Child," then one statement, followed by a short entry expanding on the single statement. Examples of the single statements are, ""I am your deliverer," "I am your dwelling place," I am your King of glory", "I am the One who hears when you call to Me." The entries are conversational and comforting. At the end of each entry several scriptural references are listed.

I think this devotional is well written, but my favorite devotional is still "Jesus Calling", by Sarah Young.

I received an ARC from the publisher through NetGalley. The opinions are solely my own.

Come, Follow Me
By Matt Koceich
I have to be honest that I did not read this devotional over the span of 365 days as it is meant to be read, but rather in chunks. I believe it would be more beneficial if read daily as you will also accomplish reading through the Bible in that time frame as well. I highly recommend reading through the Bible and I think this is a wonderful companion of encouragement. The devotionals were full of Gods promises and uplifting reminders of who God is and who we are in Him. This is a great devotional full of little blessings for each day of the year.
