Julio was just another handsome Dominican dude from the Bronx until his Tio came home from prison and turned him out. Feeling abused and violated, Julio ran away from home. With no job skills or formal education, he turned towards the streets to make ends meet and survive. Turning tricks is quick money, but what happens when he's forced to deal with his past? This is a deep and honest look into the life of one man who was abused and the effects it had on his life.
This was my first read by this author. The story had good bones. While I didn't feel the main character was developed enough to get a sense of who he really was, I did, however, feel that I knew his "assignments". The interaction between him and "them" was very detailed and helped to outline what transpired to get him to his final mindset. His leaving home is a bit muddled. I can't even recall it. I'm no stranger to gay romance and this one I think delivered from the POV the author wrote was a good vantage point.

I felt the book was rushed.. all this seem like it happened in a couple of months.. very gruesome and detailed..! Never read a book like this definitely a first read for me. I would hope it’s a part 2..,.. would hope the writer tries a woman I need to know more. Didn’t like the ending.
