A great, quick read for teachers who are starting out. It would benefit teachers who need a re-fresher on the world of "great" teaching. I'm a huge fan of Vickie's professionalism and work.

"Education is to calm the disturbed or disturb the calm."

A solid collection of tips for any teacher. Though not earth-shattering, Gill's personal anecdotes are refreshing and speak to teachers of any age - despite the changes that have taken place in the U.S. education system since this edition was published. Good for those who are looking to invigorate their teaching with a new approach or attitude, even if you don't have Gill's fire.

I have been a teacher for 13 years and find this book to be the most accurate, all-encompassing, thorough, and USEFUL teacher-book I've ever read.
