*Warning! Sacrilegious and obscene, not for the easily offended!* After being abused by her parish priest, Sister Mary Catherine cried not for herself as she was then, but for Destiny, the slutty teen she used to be. For the first time, she prayed. When Christ answered, He told her to impale herself on His "spear". The next morning, she awoke with an extra appendage to deliver His divine justice.
While I can see this book not being for everyone because of the religious undertones it takes. I myself thought it was a great short story and applaud the author for taking a chance on writing this book.
Holy Wow!!..This book is...Yeah..it's exactly what it says in the warning...I love Ed Bar his books are always crazy and enjoyable.I didn't know whether to be horrified or laugh my butt off reading The Spear of Destiny..It's short, dirty and not for the faint hearted..
Wow this story blew me away Ed Bar is some kind of twisted writer and I LOVED every freaking page Can't wait to see what he writes next 💖💗💖💗💖💗💖💗💖💗💖💗💖💗💖
This book is so taboo, who wouldn’t like to get revenge on someone who does you wrong? The revenge is so artfully written and makes you cheer for Destiny. Great job!!
I do like books by this author. He has a great, totally un PC imagination and his stories are always quirky. This novella carried on in that theme and should not be read by anyone who is offended by blasphemy and sacrilege, as it’s here in abundance. Having been brought up a Catholic, I do like books with dark religious themes. Having said that, it reminds me of a soap opera where the baddie always gets their come uppence eventually and that certainly happened by the end of the story! You could say there is a serious moral undertone to this which probably sounds a total contradiction! If you like the dark side, are totally un PC then this could be right up your street.
This is all I’m going to say about this book and that is it is fantastic. It hooks you before you even finish the first chapter and it keeps you hooked right up until the very end. Ed Bar is definitely a awesome story weaving genius which is probably why I read every book that I can that he writes! So yes I do recommend this book to anyone who’s looking for a fantastic story to become lost in.
This book is sinfully exquisite. I was glued to each hot page and loved every bit of it. It was so naughty. I definitely recommend this book to readers.
