Her uncle sold her soul for wealth... and as she spends more time with her captor, she realizes that she doesn't exactly want it back anymore. Harleen Campbell is a typical high school senior, waiting tables to save up for college. Because her parents died young, she's forced to live with her uncle, a bitter man who would do anything for the next dollar - besides actual work, that is. When he suddenly moves them into a mansion overnight, Harleen worries he's resorted to selling drugs. It turns out, he sold something else entirely... Now, Harleen is forced to give up her education, her friends and her boyfriend in order to move into a castle in the bowels of Hell and marry a man she barely knows, except that he is the definition of evil. She wants to hate him - she does! Except his hazel eyes have flecks of green in them and he has a deep, rumbly Australian accent and the way he looks at her causes shivers to run up and down her spine... It's like they say, you can't help who you fall for. And for Harleen, falling for the devil is easier than she ever imagined.
Isadora Brown loves all things dark, dangerous, and deadly. Things that go bump in the night and send shivers down backs are things she adores. She loves (and writes) sexy, forbidden romance, usually with some bite and a hint of magic. She is the author of The Somerset Series, The Dark Paradise Trilogy, The Stranger Trilogy, and The Neverland Trilogy.

So... The first 30% of the story was kind of... uninteresting, even a bit boring. And absurd. Like, Andrew was seriously stalkerish but this didn't even bother Harleen one bit. I would have been scared shitless, no matter how good looking he was. He was totally creepy, and that had nothing to do with being the Devil. Also, Harleen pissed me off for about 60% of the story. The book actually gets interesting after Andrew takes her to Hell. I even start to like Andrew a little. But still don't like Harleen much. At some point the attraction between them is evident and I actually start to enjoy the book. She also comes around a bit less bitchy. But that weird morning when they have the awful fight... it's just...stupid. He wakes up angry and cold for no freaking reason, he acts like a jerk, for no reason, and they both say awful and hurtful things to each other. He's so immature to leave her with no freaking explanation of why he's angry. She then leaves the castle and act like an immature child by doing exactly what she was asked not to do. Stupid, stupid, stupid. So yeah, there were some bits I liked, but other bits I didn't. 3 stars is a reasonable rating.
Harleen is a high school senior living with her Uncle Edgar who is her only surviving relative. As well as studying hard, she is also working to save for college and pay bills (she occasionally has the free time to see her boyfriend too). Enter Andrew, a gorgeous guy with an Australian accent who just happens to be the devil. Edgar enters a deal with Andrew for unlimited wealth - the price is Harleen's soul.
Andrew manages to worm his way into Harleen's life and after a misunderstanding, she finds herself in hell and marrying Andrew. Will she grow to love Andrew or will everything he has worked for fall in a heap and fail. I guess you need to read the book to find out.
I loved this book. Whilst I found the religious undertones a little irritating at times, in essence, it was still a good story, well told. The descriptions of hell were good and I could see it in my head and imagine what it was like. The descriptions of the relationships were clear and easy to understand. Worth a read.
We have seen the Lucifer Morningstar's humors side in Lucifer and the pure devilish side in Chilling adventures of Sabrina, now it's time to see his romantic side as Andrew. Andrew comes to earth to claim Harleen's soul, a girl who had a tough life and struggles to finishes her high school with all her life issues. Harleen's uncle trades her soul for wealth to the devil, but Andrew waits for her consent and when she gives it in a playful way he takes her to hell. Hell is just a name but the author presented it like a hi-tech kingdom with chariots instead of cars. There is a bookstore and also mobile. Finally, the Devil develops a heart when he falls in love with his wife and become vulnerable and stays loyal for her.

This book was kind of a 50/50 split for me. I greatly enjoy the humor, the banter was pretty good and I thought the chemistry was pretty good. I thought the Andrew/Devil character worked really well and I liked him a lot. Harleen, was snarky and sassy and for the most part I liked her but every once in a while I found her frustrating/agravating. The plot had a certain cuteness to it and plenty of promise. Things seemed to progress so slowly though and I just felt that it fell short on really acheiving it. I will say that this read satisfied me enough and left me intrigued enough to want to read book two. All thoughts and opinions in this review are my own.
Harleen’s uncle sold her to the devil for a deal that her uncle made with him but Harleen isn’t happy her selfish uncle sold her for wealth. Andrew has these weird feelings for Harleen he doesn’t know what love is but he wants to give her everything and for her to be his queen. It’s funny Andrew the devil has an Australian accent, even though these two characters had their ups and downs they were a good couple. This is a fantastic story I enjoyed it immensely and I highly recommend this book.
Not one of the stories that caught me from the beginning. It is confusing and slow. The story is interesting at times but it lacks a lot in depth and entertainment. It has potential to be a great story but it is not all the way there yet. It is a nice read though and of a great length. Characters are well described.
Falling For The Devil is a book one of The Gods and Monsters Trilogy. This is an interesting story about a young woman whose uncle sold her soul to the devil. I love the connection Harleen and Andrew (the devil) have together and how it builds slowly. Overall the story is good and the characters were entertaining but I had a hard time with the religious aspects of the story.
This is my first time reading a book written by Isadora Brown. I’m a fan of paranormal romance and she definitely delivered and at the same time gave me a wicked demon to run wild in my mind.

This is an intriguing and well written story with its roundabout retelling of beauty and the beast with interesting and strong characters! I loved Andrew with his accent and Harleen who gets sold to hell by her uncle! A fab paranormal romance well worth a read!
A very interesting journey through hell with a couple that is at odds a lot of the time but still very interesting and engaging.... this is an action packed adventure filled with lots of emotional ups and downs. Very entertaining reading
Could you fall for the devil if he was young and cut and charismatic? That's the choice Harleen is faced with when she meets Andrew, aka Satan. I liked this story and the characters were surprisingly relatable. A good story with a happy ending.
This was a new author for me. I enjoyed the book. It drew me right in. Good book. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via booksprout.
