Rate this book
Excerpt from The Life of Rev. Orange Compiled From His Personal Narrative, Correspondence, and Other Authentic Sources of Information; In Two Parts

The personal narrative, is given in the exact language he used 111 dictating it. For he was so feeble and slow of ar terance, that it was easy to write every word of each sen tence during the pause that ensued. And all will be the more interested to read it from this fact, although there may be noticed, what, in other circumstances would be deemed imperfections in language or style. To accomplish such a task on his sick bed, and so near death, develops a most te markable feature of his uncommon mind-its exhaustless energy.
