About the author

American Jesuit priest, poet, lyricist, and essayist.

He articulated and defended a strict interpretation of the Roman Catholic doctrine, extra Ecclesiam nulla salus ("outside the Church there is no salvation"). He took the position that baptism of blood and baptism of desire are unavailing and that therefore no non-Catholics will be saved.

I bought this book for $1 at a bookstore in Galaway, Ireland. It was a random purchase and random writing. I actually really enjoyed the thoughts in this book as they were fun and thought provoking. I'm guessing it would be a hard one to find but if you should find yourself staring at a $1 book shelf, I'd encourage you to grab a book like this that probably hasn't been opened in 30+ years.
