No good farmland left in KS so the Mennonite Martens family heads to Hennessey OT for the Cherokee Outlet Land Run of 1893.

A Mennonite children's book by a good Menno Mom and Grandmom from, yep, OK and KS!, heavy on the Bible and Mennonite expected behavior.

As in Turkey Red, God sends his plagues and problems but in the end, it all comes out fine - of course!

Only for Mennos nostalgic for books their Moms might have read to them - but mind didn't! A quick and easy read and another trip down Menno nostalgia lane! And I grew up in that same Cherokee Strip, BTW!
