Wayfarer #17

Wayfarer Evolution

Rate this book
Humans only survives Old prejudices haunt the Wayfarers as they make room for the survivors of the human race. Little incidents of vandalism and bigotry pile up. Adara and Decker face the day to day running of the Wayfarers both on planet and off. With Oakes’ reassurance and Decker’s support, she plans to take the new ship and explore their sectors. Before they can go, humans only make an attempt to harm their children and family. Taking a hands off approach, the investigation is handled by people outside the family. Violence against the family and Adara’s assistants lead to the Wayfarers first trial. Back in space, Adara settles into running the Wayfarers and exploring space. She finds comfort and excitement in learning how to delegate and balance her life. But the conflict isn’t resolved and follows her. Will the Wayfarers and Humans come together?

Airlock people, it really should be used!

Whew, things are busy! There is a lot of growth going on all around. It is really intriguing to see. Some of the people rather surprised me to be honest. The Humans Only group is a pain in the rear. I couldn’t be like Adara, I would just have a public execution…. I bet it would keep other ideas away lol. I am enjoying learning about the area they are in and how some of them are doing different things. I miss Hal being onboard, as well as Janet, but I understand. I am really interested in what is going on with the birth rate… I wonder if it is something that they will figure out. Lots of questions, but happy with they way the story is changing.

Life is still crazy for Adara and Decker they are starting to get settled on home plant but there are still a group of humans that still think that they are more superior to the wayfarers and they are starting to corse trouble in homeland but they are also targeting Adara family and she doesn’t let no one mess with her family.

I loved this story it’s full on action and lots off drama which keeps you wanted to just keep turn pages until you come to the end the main characters are just amazing don’t no what I will do when I finish reading this series Eileen Troemel you have wrote an amazing series absolutely loved it

I could not put this book down, once I started it and I am glad that I had extra time as I had to read it all in one sitting. It moves along at a great pace, has amazing characters that you cannot help but fall in love with and a story that will not disappoint. This book needs to be on your TBR list, no doubt about it.

This book is set in the Wayfarer space and shows the domestic issues the clan faces. I like how the bigger isssue with the Humans Only group is interspersed with Adara worrying about how much time she is getting to spend with the children. I like how things go and how most people banded together like they did on the ships.

A lot is happening and the action level is right there on top. I love the world building so much and the way the caracters do things you don't expect or wouldn't do yourself. How they handle situations and yes it's in investment to read the series but totally worth it! Would recommend and now to the finale!
