Suggested by Rogers' Diffusion of Innovations - since that book is primarily about spread amongst individual adopters. Zaltman et al - not as readable as Rogers but still quite good. Nicely outline the paradox of innovation where large, complex organizations are quick to develop/find innovative ideas but slow to adopt them. Large and complex means lots of ways to collect information. Large and complex obviously creates barriers for adoption.
