Great tips, plans, and many great references to other sources!
I’m a high school student, and I’m training to become a cartoon animator. I’ve finished 2 of 4 semesters of The Animation Course (TAC) by Chad Stewart, and I chose to learn with 2D animation. (I recommend TAC for other high schoolers who wish to learn the basics of 2D or 3D animation).
This has been a very helpful guide! I will read it again when I’ve finished my course so I can put this knowledge to even better use when I fully understand the basics of animation. There are many referred blogs, forums, programs, education, and other books in this. I have checked out some and I’ll be back to check out more of them. There are great plans and ideas for improving my skills beyond the basics. I’m a homeschooled sophomore and now I plan to take a physics and anatomy class next year to better understand both. Thank you so much Chris Derochie for your book! I look forward to your reading and learning from your blog and your other books. Thank you Chris Derochie for all your hard work!
