An AD Western Novel About a Half White/Half Indian Man/War/Raids

AD has penned a western novel of the Northwest which is about those tribes that have proven they can leave in peace as long discussions are held. Our Intrepid hero falls out of his Dad's conestoga. He is rescued by an Indian Chief and lives his life as an Indian as opposed to a single white man. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Crow Killer

Crow Killer is believable as a white man and he is also believable as an Arapaho warrior. He has feelings for his brothers that war against each other and he is also a kind man. He cares for a a white girl and her death makes lonely. This book is an easy read and the writer makes us feel that even though he was mistreated by his step brothers he has a good life. Well written. I would enjoy reading more about Jed

Never before have I taken on a 10 book series

Alfred Dennis you write a heck of a book. It frees me to the beauty of nature, and takes me back to the mountains that will forever be home. The characters come alive on the page. Your imagination amazes me and holds me breathless at at times. This is a fantastic series. Brings out my native side. Well done, well plotted, very well written

crow killer series

The second book is just as good as the first. I am enjoying them very much and looking forward to reading the third book. Mr. Dennis makes the valley so beautiful as if I was there watching it. I lived in Wyoming for quite a few years and in the northern part there is some beautiful country also.

What a great story!

I loved this story, so many things happen and the story is just beginning! Many years ago, my dad was just a teenager, and I now in my 70's, he and his brothers helped track down and carry out a Air Force pilot who had been lost in the San Bernardino mountains. They used the same type of stretcher the author described in this book!

Good Book

Jed worked hard in his valley and saved a deft Indian boy from freezing to death after his tribe banished him due to his deafness. Enjoyed reading this book and it was hard to put down for very long.

Western drama at its finest

This continuation of Crow Killer was addictive,I couldn't stop reading until it's ending! So saddened for his loss and not happy to know he is being stalked by a killer grizzly! A must read book for sure!

Book 2 Jed finds his valley where he builds a cabin and with the help of a young Assiniboine Indian has a good trapping season. Things go from bad to worst when he goes to Baxter Springs to make Sally Ann his bride.

A very good read.

As I have said about this author before. He makes his wild times wild enough to be exciting, but still within the realm of possibility.

Lance bearer

It is a look into the past. How people lived and survived. There is mystery, love, rage, happiness, death, and friendship. Such a good read.
