nuanced, interesting, no easy answers given here; George Lindbeck is a respected theologian for a reason. short read that seems to be geared to framing the (difficult) conversation. Lindbeck does a great job of showing there is reason for hope and compatibility, that is, we agree on more than we often realize beyond the slogans.
