I am an Iñupiat hunter/trapper, and I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn how life is in Alaska.

A story of one man's spiritual journey and revival on the north coast of Alaska. The story was compelling and exciting, but I felt that it glossed over some parts of the rural Alaska experience especially some of the things that native Alaskan people experienced during the turn of the century.
